Amsterdam - Pontsteiger.
"Pontsteiger " (‘ferry pier’) is a large-scale residential project in Amsterdam. The building is located at the end of a 200 metre dam that projects into the water of the river IJ. The building consists of a six floor low-rise block that wraps around a plaza on the waterfront. Two slender 60 metre high towers at the open end of this block frame the river view. The towers carry a bridge spanning 48 metres rising to a height of 90 metres (archdaily.com).
Architects: Arons & Gelauff. Built in 2018.

41 Cooper Square,designed by architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis,is a nine-story,175,000-square-foot (16,300 m2) academic center that houses the Albert Nerken School of Engineering with additional spaces for the humanities,art,and architecture departments in the newest addition to Cooper Union's campus in Cooper Square,Manhattan,New York City;there is also an exhibition gallery and auditorium for public programs and retail space on the ground level.The building, originally known as the New Academic Building,stands on the site where the School of Art Abram Hewitt Building was located;the site of the building formerly used for engineering will be leased to a developer once the move has been completed.Construction of the building began in 2006 and was completed in September 2009.
The project has been controversial in the East Village neighborhood where 41 Cooper Square is located.

Kraanspoor (UK: Craneway) is an office building built on top of a concrete craneway on the grounds of the former NDSM shipyard, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The craneway was built in 1952 and is 270 meters long.
Design (2007): Trude Hooykaas (OTH Architects).
