Rippling branches reflected on the water's surface, yes. Crescent moon, no!
The "moon" is, in fact, a crescent-shaped leaf that happened to float by. The 720nm IR rendered the green leaf as white.

Aquatic springtails by our garden pond. Looks like a dark-form Sminthurides aquaticus and a juvenile (possibly the same species). As usual; most of the S. aquaticus individuals around the pond are this dark form.
This is an aquatic wildflower species that I've discovered just recently. View on L for a closer look.
Round Lake Preserve
Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is famous for their acres of pink Lotus and Water Lilies, but it always has much more to offer. This time of year the ponds and gardens have lots of butterflies, dragonflies, birds and other other small critters.
I stumbled upon some aquatic tourists from Quebec on our way up to Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. This is Medicine Lake and it's water level is unusually high, the warm weather made a lot of snow melt in the mountains. Good to see "tourists" in the area as it was very quite last year(s).

Aquatic assault stormtroopers, also known as seatroopers or aquatic troopers, were a specialized branch of the Imperial stormtroopers. They were used by the Galactic Empire to maintain a presence on the many aquatic worlds under its rule. It is unknown if they had any ties to the aquatic Imperial navy.
