I have used 18k gold filled chain,clasp and findings for this nacklace to last for years and years of everyday use.

The highlight of this design is the genuine Birch tree leaf that has been preserved in sterling silver. Along side the one-of-a-kind skeletal leaf is a glistening aqua chalcedony gem, like a droplet of water on the leaf's surface.

This is an unusually large chalcedony pear that I wrapped in sterling silver wire and dropped from a sterling chain.
This is a custom set I made for another good client.
It's made with egg-shaped aqua chalcedony stones and Thai Hill Tribes silver beads. The sweet bird pendant is sterling silver.
A sweet little faceted oval cabochon of aqua chalcedony is set horizontally into a bezel setting that I created from scratch. It was constructed using sterling and fine silver (.925 and .999), and boasts decorative beading that has been oxidized and hand buffed to bring out the texture and define the details. The cabochon is faceted which allows glints of light to bounce around, making it appear to glow from within. The sterling silver cable chain closes with two orange sapphires and a hand-forged hook clasp, also in sterling silver. This is the perfect little necklace for everyday or when you want to make a statement without wearing a large piece.
