The program focuses on hands-on experiences using industrial tools such as lathes and mills. It also teaches students how to run highly advanced computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment along with 3D imaging software (CAD CAM) to make precision parts. This program is the ONLY program in the state that has earned national certification through the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).
