We parted from Demi at the museum. Please don't judge us. What else could we do? She wasn't actually our CHILD. We didn't OWN her. (Although we did technically pay for her.) She insisted on being on her own to follow her quest to find her other half.
So we let her go with one caveat. We asked her to meet us at the Apple store before nightfall. Couldn't she search during the day and come back to us and the safe hotel at night?
She said maybe. She'd try.
Mr. Zoom and I arrived at the beautiful Apple store at the appointed time.
We waited.
And waited.
I stood at the bottom of the steps hoping to recognize her precious shoes. Mr. Zoom planted himself outside for the first glimpse of her.
She never showed......

When serious people of good faith disagree, they've got to go back into the narratives and come at it again. One of the problems in the church is that people are not willing to do that. People have arrived at a place where they think they have got the answer.
