On our first night of our tramp/hike, we stayed at Kings Hut, also known as Kings Creek Hut. A 5-10 minute walk away is the historic original hut of Cecil King. Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand.

I bought this little camper bird house on our day trip to St. Jacobs last weekend. I know it is unlikely that a little bird will occupy it, but perhaps one might. In the meantime I will enjoy looking at it as a little yard ornament. :)

I am very lucky to live in a remote location, up a single track road in the Peak District. The moor literally starts on the other side of the lane from our house. In these times of COVID lock-down, it gives a lot of options for taking local exercise...

Crown of Thorns Starfish (Acanthaster planci) the curse of coral reefs, on glass at the Cairns Aquarium, far north Queensland. The species is a normal inhabitant of coral reefs. Crown of Thorns Starfish population explosions kill significant swathes of reef coral. Hypotheses about what causes of these events are hotly contested among reef scientists.

The Nissan Figaro was manufactured in 1991 and marketed in Japan. A total of 20,073 were made. This one was parked on the street in Seoul, Korea's Sinsa neighborhood.
As I had looked out of a window of a shopping mall that had a distinct green tint to it, this is the view that I saw.
A combination of old and new buildings, combining together to create a landscape with a surrealist feel.
To preserve the character of the scenery that I had seen, I decided not to clean up the picture, compared to a similar picture from my other art portfolio.
