Jesus declared that we are all sons of God and to repeat this truth in our prayers every day …… “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your Name”.

He did not say that he is the only Son as priests immersed in ignorance propagate, but that we all are His children and sons. The only difference is that he knows he is the son of God but we immersed in ignorance do not realise it and have forget our true identity, the truth of our being!

Jesus came to remind us of our true identity and wake us up, to raise us from the dead, that is to remove from us the ignorance that we think that we can die and that death exists for our immortal self and soul.

We are children of God, God is our Father and so we are like God for our children are like us, the same as us, there is no difference between a father and his son or child. The difference becomes due to ignorance and cultivating a bad and evil character.

God is Truth and the Source of Truth, so if we cultivate and abide in truth we return to the source of our being, we realise that we are the same as God Himself, we are of the same identity and nature as He Is!

So abiding in truth we develop a sterling character and a pure mind and becomes easy to realise that we are God, the source of all blessing, love, happiness, immortality and beatitude.

But if we get immersed in ignorance and forgetfulness it becomes easy to identify with the external physical environment that is the product of Maya, of Illusion, changing and transforming all the time being physical in nature and following the rules of birth, growth and death, creation, preservation and destruction or annihilation.

So the demon is a fallen angel that forgets its reality and identifies itself with the physical bodies that he occupies and creates out of illusion. A demon is an immortal child of God that due to its ignorance and forgetfulness and identification with external reality which is an illusion and a lie, lives and cultivates ignorance and lies and becomes a demon searching for mundane physical pleasures and riches ready to fight for them in order to acquire them and make them his own property.

A demon develops a bad character and lives in an illusion forgetting his real reality and goes away and astray from his Father cultivating lies and untruth that separates him from Him. Only lies can separate you from Truth and a demon cultivates lies and fight and ignores God which is the Truth thus going away from Him and Truth creating apostasy from Him and thus throwing himself in tribulations, ordeals, unhappiness and travails with out an end. Like Sisyphus he climbs the steep hill with great labour and effort only to fall back in the beginning with out any success thus living in misery and pain not realising that he is immortal and the Source of Bliss and Happiness. And all that due to ignorance and false identification and forgetfulness of his immortal Truth.

Arise, awake from the sleep of ignorance and throw away all illusions, lies and false identifications you cultivated for so long and realise that you are not different from God Himself, as your child is no different from you but it can become even better if he cultivates a better character than you.

The only thing we have to do is to return to the Source of our being, to God which He is our Source by cultivating a pure mind and character that resembles His. By removing the false ego and egoism and lust and greediness and jealousy and anger and hate and false pride we become like Him in splendour and purity !

WELCOME TO ETERNITY GATE!

 

BETWEEN BRUCKNER's BIRTH HOUSE and the Parish & clergy home (Pfarrhof) lies a smallest old cemetery wonderfully preserved. These stairs lead to that solitary realm.

Metaphorically, it's a climb to what is to come and not to a meaningless close.

 

I cannot help asking myself how Ansfelden looked like in the times of Meister. Probably not quite as tidy and made up as now. But, even more likely, it must have been a more vigorous, busy life taking place. I see it everywhere in Europe – the plummeting birth rates and an extraordinary changed way of life making us... less alive.

 

When my son was eleven, we visited the grave of our friends Beppa & Guilio Baldovin at the foot of Antelao in Italy. They were a wonderful couple whom I last saw just when my son was to be conceived. We exchanged letters. Twelve years later and their silent tombstones shone blindingly white in the soaring August noon heat. It took the whole morning to find their resting place, but we found it and stood there alone. My son asked me there spontaneously "Pa, why are the graveyards so important?"

His honest question caught me by surprise. I don't think I gave him an answer good enough.

 

Churchyards and graves will always remain not only a track of lives lived on earth, our memory of those who went before us after they've became part of us, but a reminder too over our own passage to come. In the attempt to make those tracks and markings lasting, we use firm, heavy solid material, concrete, stones or marble. That's how we unintentionally also mark the true intended scope of life: in general, we know it has to get a reconstructed, restored value and dimension. Life marked by creation and birth, but unlimited in time thereafter.

 

Even in the dismal rainy early Saturday morning such as August 5th was, this door was open. Rightly so. Always is the time to think of our beloved ones, of our neighbor and of the new life to come. To ponder over the age and life that shall transcend the physical dimensions of time and world as we know it.

 

Whatever the gates and dimensions of our future existence may be, I just know I wouldn't like to dwell there without the splendor and glory of Bruckner's music.

 

Anton Bruckner's biographers sometimes mention his alleged obsession with the dead and the prayer. Probably it was just his healthy strong authentic faith, surviving the rising apostasy of the XIX century's closing chapters.

The choice of red as the colour of the Serenissima was not completely arbitrary either, this being the iconographic colour of Saint George. Dessa forma, eu comecei a estudar as qualidades geométricas desse corpo no espaço e a buscar uma variação anatômica que pudesse caraterizar a minha assinatura tridimensional.

Fiz isso para achar uma prova, para mim mesmo, de que eu seria Michelangelo, caso um detalhe muito particular e obscuro fosse encontrado.

The absolute morality that a religious person might profess would include what, stoning people for adultery, death for apostasy, punishment for breaking the Sabbath. These are all things which are religiously based absolute moralities. I don’t think I want an absolute morality. I think I want a morality that is thought out, reasoned, argued, discussed and based upon, I’d almost say, intelligent design [pun intended]. Can we not design our society, which has the sort of morality, the sort of society that we want to live in – if you actually look at the moralities that are accepted among modern people, among 21st century people, we don’t believe in slavery anymore. We believe in equality of women. We believe in being gentle. We believe in being kind to animals. These are all things which are entirely recent. They have very little basis in Biblical or Quranic scripture. They are things that have developed over historical time through a consensus of reasoning, of sober discussion, argument, legal theory, political and moral philosophy. These do not come from religion. To the extent that you can find the good bits in religious scriptures, you have to cherry pick. You search your way though the Bible or the Quran and you find the occasional verse that is an acceptable profession of morality and you say, ‘Look at that. That’s religion,’ and you leave out all the horrible bits and you say, ‘Oh, we don’t believe that anymore. We’ve grown out of that.’ Well, of course we’ve grown out it. We’ve grown out of it because of secular moral philosophy and rational discussion.
