What is a girl to do when her ride has broken down, she has only one small gun and she can hear the approach of strangers who are not likely to be friendly? Does she stand and fight, or does she tilt that gun toward her temple...?

If she decides to stand her ground, she better first change those shoes!

The End Long, but one of my faves.

Taken at Everwinter Photo totally raw. My friend Gryphon Vendetta made the pose. Find his store (Poseidon Poses) here: marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/171515 My friend Seven Prodigy made the tat.

Hommes femmes et enfants, tristes et désemparés, quittèrent leur pays devenu inhabitable, laissant derrière eux leurs souvenirs, leur vie...

I can see my house from here, so hopefully not!

Returning from a kayak outing in Kyleakin, this dramatic cloud over the village of Broadford on Skye was certainly eye-catching. It was several tense minutes of driving before we could reach a location on the shore of Broadford Bay that would give a clear view of the cloud over Beinn na Caillich. Sadly, I only had my little waterproof compact point-and-shoot camera with me, so no control over the awkward light conditions of the late afternoon sunshine - but fortunately, it captures RAW files, so I was able to cope to some extent in the processing. Definitely works better in monochrome!

Studlagil Canyon, Iceland -Drone shot

Last Friday I made a last minute decision to drive down to Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall, I got in the car and headed down the A38, only to be stopped by a huge traffic jam. I had a feeling a crash had happened, and after sitting there for 20 minutes or so I saw three ambulances and six police cars drive past on the opposite side. I knew I'd never make it down to the coast on time so I got off at the next junction once the traffic started moving and headed up to Plymouth Hoe instead. (Later I found out that the traffic jam was caused by someone falling off a bridge onto the main road, thankfully they're alive and being taken care of at the hospital)

I stopped off on The Barbican first and got a few shots but after smashing my 10 stop filter I got annoyed and headed up to The Hoe to see what I could get.

I had a feeling there wasn't going to be much of a sunset after all as there was a huge, menacing bank of cloud coming over from the North. So, I decided to call it a day and go home in disappointment, but then everything changed...

As I started walking back to the car I saw the clouds behind Smeaton's Tower and they looked dark and very apocalyptic, I quickly set up my camera, got a few shots off then packed up again and ran for the car before getting absolutely soaked on the way back, but it was worth it as I ended up with one of my favourite shots of the year.

Another seastorm. This is a detail of this event. I tried to capture the powerful magic of the mediterranean sea while the wind is hitting ts surface and the waves start to increase their range and volume.
