My apartment when I was working in Platteville, WI. I really liked how affordable the housing was! I had a large 2 bedroom apartment with attached garage and VERY quite neighborhood for $925 a month including water. Finding something comparable in Jacksonville was costing over $1325 a month.

The fake plant above the heater always freaks me out at night when the lights are off for some reason. I know what it is, but it's still creepy in the shadows.

My new apartment - view from the balcony to the lounge and entrance hallway.

Old, old layout, old loveseat, old phone...

The kitchen! It's more than a hallway, like last year. On the left side is my clothes washer and Toki's cage. On the right is the door to the hallway.

Guests chatting on the patio - the 2nd floor patio was larger then the living room! Such a beautiful space.
