I’ve posted this scene before taken last February, on the day as it happens Poxy Putin invaded Ukraine. The photo I first posted was when a snow blizzard had engulfed the view of Middle Dodd, this was taken earlier as I waited on that drama. With my mov events now curtailed I can at least go back to this earlier photo to do something new and take my mind off the pain. I read some amazing stories in this weeks @ap_magazine about how photography got me through help. One which stood out to me was the story from John Dearden. An unprovoked attacked in 2019 while away with his children at a seaside resort left him disabled from a break in his back and now paralysed. His prognosis was no better, but from bouts of serve depression he turned to photography for salvation and produces some amazing work, check it out for yourself at @jpdeardenphotography

Salt production has been an indigenous industry of the coastal regions since ancient times.A class of people of Chittagong known as Mulangi used to boil sea water to produce salt since ancient times.Their salt production area was called 'Tofal'.During the Mughal period, two government departments called 'Nimak Jaigir Mahal and Nimak Ayaz Mahal' controlled this industry.

Salt workers are seasonal workers with marginal source of income. There is lack of social and health securities for salt workers. They are exposed to hazardous work-environmental factors and work in extreme climatic conditions.

A late evening walk along the clyde walkway in Renfrew
Most of the day had been pretty overcast and dull sky’s
I decided to go for a walk beside the river Clyde and was greeted by this beautiful sunset as the dark clouds parted
Luckily I had grabbed my camera
Some of my image’s of Battersea Power Station appear in the latest issue of Amateur Photographer (dated 4th July 2023). Really recommended if you’re into Architecture/Landscape photography.

The sun setting behind Renfrew town hall
I could see the colours in the sky changing from my front room so I grabbed the camera and ran round to the town hall as I knew the sun would be setting behind the building
I had just grabbed the camera and had no tripod i wanted to keep the iso as low as possible and i had a shutter speed of 1/20 so I propped myself against a tree and fired off a couple of shots handheld
I loved how the colours in the sky matched the face of the clock
I'm in AP (Alternative Magazine) #254-September 2009. = )
= ) I wrote into them and told them how much I loved their article about my favorite band, Taking Back Sunday. And it was published!
So guess what? I am tagged, by 3 people. The Comeback Kid
and Gregory Taylor B. AND Saint Smile. Thanks guys! = )
This is how it goes. List 10 things that your friends may or may not know about you, but that are true. Tag ten people and be sure to let them know they’ve been tagged (a quick message will do). Don’t forget to link back to the person who tagged you. Post a picture in your stream with the 10 facts and list your tagged people :)
1.I'm in AP magazine!! haha
2.I am 16 and I'm going to be a Junior this year. And it scares me to death.
3. I am a year ahead in math...but somedays I feel like I shouldn't be....
4.I LOVE music. I love basically everything. (But not country...) I listen to screamo, acoustic, hard-core, christian rock, indie, pop, rock, hip-hop, crunk, ANYTHING.
5. My ipod is my life.
6. I HATE eating with a passion. I wish that we could all just eat a pill everyday that had all of our calorie and nutritional stuff in it, and we just took it in the morning, and we were good for the rest of the day...Just think! We could solve world hunger, famines, obesity, and eating disorders!
7. I hate talking on the phone, unless it is with my bestfriend Ashley. = )
8. I've known my best friend Ashley since 4th grade.
9. I HATE HATE HATE crowds and people...I sometimes have to sit in the car while my family grocery shops because I get claustrophobic and I freak out (inside of my mind..haha)
10.I get really shy sometimes.

Recently there has Been some amazing winter sunrises in Glasgow.
I was lucky to capture this the other morning while driving in to town.
I could see the sky changing colour so I took a quick detour to the Govan docks as I knew the reflections on the clyde would be good as it was a very still morning.
Luckily I had the fuji X-T30 in the car
So after climbing through some railings and running along the disused docks I was faced with this amazing sky..
On Sunday I visited Inveraray for some fresh air and a walk
On returning to the car the sky started to change colour from pinks to purples quite an amazing site.
by the time I grabbed the camera from the car the best of the colours were fading but the whole of the sky was this beautiful purple glow
So I grabbed a quick shot of the vital spark
I don't like Jac Vanek as a person but omg her shit is real cute okay.
This sweater is so comfy too.
Ugh.
Anyway.
I just liked this a lot.
So I'm sharing it with you guys.

This isn't great.
I used all my good pictures today.
I got up early to go to the dentist.
I don't enjoy going there. The dental hygienist laughs at everything. She'd laugh If I told her my cat died.
She annoys me.
After we went to get a bathing suite cause I'm going swimming with buds Saturday.
Its pretty sweet.

From the most anticipated 2009 issue, should be on newstands now.
Props to Aaron Van Dike for assistance and for the use of his hands in the photo, as well as the use of one of his lights so I could have four lights.
Probably one of my favorite shots I've done this year. Let me know what you think!
Also, this photo was essentially unedited, with the exception of fixing a flare from a light. I wanted to nail the shot without relying on editing.

Amazing purple sky’s reflecting in the river Clyde
I was driving into work early this morning as the sky was changing colours I stopped down at the clyde just in time to grab a quick shot
One of my favourite street photographs, is now available as an edition of 25. Even before publicising the edition, 3 prints have already been sold, so at the time of writing, there are 22 prints left. Perhaps the perfect Christmas treat or gift? The edition is an archival Giclée, gallery quality print. The photograph is printed on A3 (approx 11-3/4” x 16-1/2” or 297mm x 420mm) with a white border, on Hahnemüehle Photo Rag Bright White. 310 gsm on 100% cotton art paper. Signed on the back, name on the front left, edition numbered on the front, along with my embossing on the right side. Each print will also come with a certificate of authenticity. The price of each print is £400 (which includes VAT) plus shipping. Each print will be shipped in a sturdy tube. As the edition gets sold out, it’s customary for the price to rise near the end of the edition, so it’s wiser to invest earlier on. Please contact me via my blog or send a direct message here, to make arrangements. The photograph has been recognised by various awards and curators over the years, including being a runner-up in the Driven Creativity shortlist and exhibited in London, Paris & Berlin. It was a finalist in Travel Photographer Of The Year too. It was exhibited in The Press Photographers’ Year in the National Theatre, as well as the Fleet Street Photo Exhibition in London. It was commended by the judges of the Fotoura International Street Photography Awards as well as used as a double page spread in AP Magazine’s ‘Tribute To Leica’ issue. It also won the Life At Work category of the British Life Photography Awards. It was judged as Professional Photographer of the Year’s winner in the Street Photography category. It also made The Huffington Post Pictures of the Year in 2011. The image was made using my Leica M9 and 35mm Summicron ASPH. Brushing up on my garden bird photography skills. Next step is to eliminate the feeder from the photograph. Some nice tips in AP magazine this week.
Early morning at knapps loch
I arrived hopefully to catch the sunrise at the far side of the knapps
Just as the sun was coming up it started to cloud over but the sky went a beautiful tone
Just as I was about to take the shot these two swans swam over in to the shot
Taken with FUJI XT2 & FUJI XF 10-24mm
gracie's bedroom
i painted the "to hell with you & all your friends" sometime in 08/early 09
lyrics from a decade under the influence - taking back sunday
Just trying something a little different. Not sure if it works or not but I do like the grainy, textured effect.

The guys of From Atlantis came down to my hometown to do a shoot, of which the Images will appear in Music & Noise Magazine along with AP Magazine. IT was a bit windy but I was super stoked on the images that we were able get.
It's always a hilarious time when taking photos of them, non stop laughs.
This is my third shoot (I think) with them and we always get some sick photos.
Be sure to check out their new songs and updates that they post up frequently. They're definitely a band to keep an eye on!
You can also Friend me on facebook.

Bluemaris
Aberllefenni Slate Quarry is a mystical location to visit, in an area steeped in the history of slate mining. Taking the footpath from Aberllefenni to Bluemaris I came across this partly hidden building which encapsulates the general feel of the area as nature begins to take hold again.
I'm not a huge fan of this picture, but I seriously FORGOT about todays 365!
It totally slipped my mind until 9:30 and then I was like "CRAP".
Today was good, Grant's Mom came over to visit, then we went to get Alexa some new sneakers, and me some "Mike and Ikes", I got home to babysit, and then went to borders to get the latest AP magazine for the "Family Force 5" article.
Good stufff.
Grant's house tomorrow!
YEEE.
I think today's discovery's is over.

Song of the day: Happy _ Nevershoutnever
(If I already did this song, Inform me. Does anyone listen to these?)
It was over a year ago that heather kindly sent me a roll of Lucky Super 100 film, as part of her Are you feeling Lucky? project. It's taken far too long for me to shoot it, but here it finally is, contributing towards my own project as well - as #63 in my 100 spooky trees series.
People who've seen it say "David Hockney!" but it was more a direct homage / rip off of Thomas Kellner. This is a straight scan of the contact sheet*, no photoshop trickery, just sharpening and levels. I've cropped the top row of 6 as they were just sky and it was unbalanced.
*The contact sheet is by Karl Howard Photographic Services. Karl runs an excellent dark room and mini lab service from his converted garage - alas he doesn't scan otherwise I'd use him a lot more. i use him for all my proper B/W, sprocket hole stuff, exhibition prints and anything unusual. [You'll find his details in the classified section of AP magazine in the UK]
Pentax K1000 + Pentax SMC f1.4 50mm lens +Cosina 2x extension tube + Lucky Super 100 + scan of contact sheet.
