Château Pichon-Longueville est un domaine viticole de 73 ha situé à Pauillac en Gironde. Situé en AOC Pauillac, il est classé deuxième grand cru dans la classification officielle des vins de Bordeaux de 1855.
À l'époque de la colonisation de la Gaule, les romains ont planté quelques vignes sur la rive gauche du Rhône, à la hauteur de la commune de Seyssuel. La qualité des terroirs est vantée par Plutarque, Pline l'Ancien, et Olivier de Serres.
Au xixe siècle, la ville de Vienne tire encore sa principale ressource de la viticulture, 100 hectares de vignes y sont présents. En 1883, le phylloxéra détruit la centaine d'hectares de vigne alors présente, et n'est pas replanté.
Lorsque l'INAO entreprend la classification des AOC à la fin des années 1930, le vignoble est toujours inexistant.
Dans les années 1990, Pierre Gaillard, Yves Cuilleron et François Villard décident d'exploiter ces parcelles abandonnées. En 1996 ils créént le domaine Les Vins de Vienne pour planter 11 hectares (9,5 ha en syrah et 1,5ha en viognier), vignes qui sont vendangées pour la première fois en 1998. Louis Chèze fut le quatrième vigneron à s'installer en 1999.

The AOC is a group for Centaurs in Second Life. It is a community for centaurs.
There are currently three “houses” in the AOC: Glenstorm, Cloudbirth and Roonwit. This is to provide opportunity for roleplay but also for when we take part in games and contests. The AOC is not all about roleplay though RP may form some of the activities we take part in. It is about community and spending time with fellow centaurs – taking part in events and parties, getting to know each other, helping each other where appropriate and generally being a cool group of peeps.

Political powerhouse D-NY 14th District Representative Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez known as AOC rallied in UC Irvine on October 23, 2022 to campaign for higher voter turnouts as midterm elections deadline nears. She is the second high-profile Democrat to visit Irvine this month following Joe Biden on Oct 14. There was an estimate of 1,000 attendees and a few dozen counter-protesters at the Get Out the Vote Rally, according to an employee from UCI. Tensions heightened with counter protesters at the rally at 10:35am when the event was scheduled to begin. The counter protesters disrupted the rally for two hours. Multiple fights were involved in the counter-protest crowd and were disbanded by the Secret Service multiple times. The event was hosted by The Sunrise Movement Orange County, the Orange County Young Democrats, Planned Parenthood Generation Action UC Irvine, the UC Student Workers Union, and College Democrats. Speakers included President of Young Dems Iris 'Nini' Wu as the opener, founder of the climate actions group OC Clean Power, Kathleen Treseder, former spokesperson for President Barack Obama and United States National Security Council from 2011-2012 Tommy Vietor, Council Member Costa Mesa D-5 Arlis Reynolds, and D-NY 14th Rep AOC.
