Micanopy, FL near Paines Prarie Preserve State Park. We took a lunch break while visiting the park to check out some of the antique stores in this charming little Florida town. I think this alley has seen some better days, but I liked the brick colors and textures.
Happy Bench Monday!

This image really looks better on black.
An antique ink bottle. In my youth I dug this up from a Victorian rubbish dump. It has a sawn off top because this was made before the days of moulding whole bottles. There are bubbles and impurities in the glass.
Old antique mirror from the 1800's. For WindowWednesday.
Happy WW !
An excuse to my nice friends. On my picture with the orchid, I had made a big mistake with the texture. I have to delete the image.
Texture: Shadowhouse.

This antique replica brooch has a hole on each side to show the lace (with many holes) through the metal. It is 2 inches from the bottom to the top of the metal. I've worn it for years, despite losing some of the pearls. It's been one of my favorites. HMM, Everyone ! !

Birdbath long in disuse; Robson Harrington Estate, San Anselmo, Marin County, Northern California, USA.
On this day where my wife and I went antiquing through a whole series of shops this store at the end of the day was the most nicest and impressive of the bunch and unlike such stores several decades ago or in Europe today to some degree you can see with most American antique dealers these days it's a very heavy emphasis on Americana and not European items such as fancy chandeliers, vases or statues of cherubs which are considered as just tacky and gaudy by most younger buyers and just don't sell much anymore.
Yes. This is my cousin's window. A great view of country living.
She is also the proud owner of the Painted Chair and the Old Water Spout. Both are seen in my Photostream. mags house is chock filled with antiques.
I supose I could start another Photostream and call it mags Stuff.
