Have a great weekend my friends!

Micanopy, FL near Paines Prarie Preserve State Park. We took a lunch break while visiting the park to check out some of the antique stores in this charming little Florida town. I think this alley has seen some better days, but I liked the brick colors and textures.

Happy Bench Monday!

An antique ink bottle. In my youth I dug this up from a Victorian rubbish dump. It has a sawn off top because this was made before the days of moulding whole bottles. There are bubbles and impurities in the glass.

For Macro Mondays - Holes

This antique replica brooch has a hole on each side to show the lace (with many holes) through the metal. It is 2 inches from the bottom to the top of the metal. I've worn it for years, despite losing some of the pearls. It's been one of my favorites. HMM, Everyone ! !

This antique glass darning “egg” is a unique shape. It’s called a “foot form” darner, and it's the perfect shape for darning socks because it maintains the sock's shape as you work on it, early 1900's

Advice is like castor oil, easy enough to give but dreadful uneasy to take. 😊 HCT!
