A portrait shot for a change. Have never noticed the pebbles/round stones lying to the north of the lighthouse so although there is no water in the shot I thought it was quite an interesting perspective.

it was taken on a Sunday ride using nikon d750 with LEE 87 (730nm) in front of the lens and quite long exposure :)
Last of the sunset images this one i have converted to black and white, taken earlier on the way to pier to catch the last of the sun's rays for the colour shots.
This is a very first image from a short series of images with magnificent autumn reflections in calm water.
This image represents and an alternative point of view on the World around us, on human perception, on amazing things around us that we can see only if we change a perspective...

10th September 2017:
A pretty miserable day, again. While it wasn't raining first thing, I rolled off a dozen or so photos of things I saw in the garden, they didn't work.
So just before lunch, when it wasn't raining I went over to the car park to find something else. I did, but didn't use any of them for today.
When Graham served up the Sunday lunch, I thought I'd have another go at getting a foodie photo. But, decided to try some of the ideas suggested last week and took it from a different angle than from above.
I really must clear the dining table from all the added extras that get put on it, before I take my photos. I've painted out the accumulated rubbish that got into the frame. Not done that well (I don't think), but it's better than before!
We has roast pork, tajine de légumes, new to us and delicious, served with roast potatoes and there was also quite a good amount of skin on the joint to get some scrummy crackling.

It was just a moment before the sun set. After taking a few shots, the sun had already disappeared. The withered leaves in the center were very impressive, and although it lasted only a few minutes, I continued pressing the shutter with excitement.
