When making this tree-inspired beaded hemp necklace/anklet I kept getting the thought that it would be perfect for a fae who protects the forest. Then I realized that the center tree charm resembles a rowan, so the logical name choice involved Bregalad (or Quickbeam), one of the Ents who are the shepherds of the trees in "Lord of the Rings". I made this necklace for the Artisan Jewelers Guild's "Summer Solstice" challenge.
This necklace is crocheted from white hemp cord, strung with lots of forest colored beads and charms. The center charm is a metal bronze-colored tree, there are four green plastic leaf charms (two are opaque), two large green glass beads with a gold design, two large oval beads with a flower design, and lots of green, blue, and gold glass, wood, and plastic beads.
The entire necklace is about 29" (73.7 cm) long (including extra cord to tie with where it isn't crocheted), but the crocheted, thicker part is about 21 1/2" (54.6 cm). You tie the necklace in the back, so it can fit any size neck, and can be worn tighter or looser (personally I usually wear this style as a choker).

With every other bead an iridescent Swarovski AB crystal, no photo can capture the mega-shininess of this anklet! I've also used Swarovski white pearls and Czech glass barrel beads, with silverlined seed bead highlights, finished off with a glass pearl drop dangle.
The anklet is 8.5 inches altogether, and the pearl dangle is just over an inch long.
Anklet with glass pearl in an off-white shade. The strap consists of a double row of tiny faceted balls (sometimes described as diamond cut ball bearings) in silver tone metal, so it's a lot shinier than in the picture. Clasp and rings rhodium plated.
This one of a kind anklet is made with natural ocean jasper nuggets, clear crystal rondelles, and tiny bronze glass beads. The clasp is sterling silver and this piece measures 9.25".
The celtic symbol on her foot signifies motherhood and each of the circles below are to symbolize her children.
More on this after the jump...I got a few compliments on my feet last night. Always appreciated and I do it for the "toe voyers".
This anklet is made of long, glass, purple, beadlettes, along with black, amethyst, and clear glass seed beads. It measures 9 3/4" with a silver-plated lobster clasp.
Another beaded crochet hemp necklace! This one is Pagan-inspired and features moons and a moon goddess. :)
t's crocheted from greenish-brown yarn that's 50% wool and 50% hemp, strung with lots of copper colored beads. At the center are 100% brass (nickel and lead-free) goddess sitting on a crescent moon charm and two 100% brass moon charm discs. Around this are white bone beads with a moon and star design, wood beads, and glass and plastic beads in clear and copper/brass colors.
The entire necklace is about 27" (68.6 cm) long (including extra cord to tie with where it isn't crocheted), but the crocheted, thicker part is about 22" (55.9 cm). You tie the necklace in the back, so it can fit any size neck, and can be worn tighter or looser (personally I usually wear this style as a choker).
It can also be worn as an anklet!

This lovely, soft purple anklet is the perfect summer sparkle. I created it from light lavender crystal donut beads that have silver fire-polished donut crystals on either side. Completing the anklet are Bali silver beads and two sizes of white pearls. There is a 1" / 2.5cm extender chain with silver feet charm dangling at the end. The anklet is finished with a silver lobster clasp.
The anklet is 9.75" / 25cm long with 1" / 2.5cm extender chain
