Inside the animation film that Caloi is producing, there will be a sequence called "Claustropolis". I did some colouring for the linework of architect Luis Lleonart here.

Still frame from 1982 french animated film Les Maîtres du temps (The Masters of Time, a.k.a. Time Masters), directed by René Laloux and designed by Moebius.
Images are small but unfortunately its all I could get from my DVD software.
My new design, a cute origami face, with a 3D animation to show how to fold it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxN-6LawBm0
Note: this origami rabbit is very different from the most common traditional origami rabbit face model which has a completely different structure, but after designing it and making this animation I saw a Miffy origami model (with no mention of the creator) which has different proportions but almost the same fold structure.
This Teeshirtales clip features my talented Nephew Ali Jerome who along with is partner Lamar Callaghan authored and illustrated "Kickin It Kids" Enter the Rapscallion a Hip-Hop Space Odyssey--about kids representing the four elements of hip-hop who inhabit super-powers. Of course Ali wears a tee he created with a pic from the book--available on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles.com and Kindle

In its ten-year history, the Expanded Animation Symposium has continually examined the vast and constantly evolving field of animation and its myriad connections to other disciplines. Along this journey, the symposium has featured prominent and up-and-coming people, projects and perspectives that have significantly shaped the current animation landscape. In addition to becoming a regular part of the Ars Electronica Festival, the symposium itself has also continued to expand, developing from an initial one-day event to a three-day affair that includes multiple tracks, exhibitions, performances and even an additional symposium, Synaesthetic Syntax.

Here's an animated GIF file that is a 45-frame animation of the results of stacking 45 AVI files using Registax 3. Each stack was the best roughly 450 of 600 frames captured at 5 frames per second. The individual sets were taken between 11:42 p.m. May 11 and 3:40 a.m. May 12, 2006 using a ToUCam webcam and a Stellarvue SV152 apochromat (6" high-quality refractor telescope), with a 4X Televue Powermate to enlarge the image optically. These have not been color-balanced yet. Notice there are times when the image gets fuzzy: these occur first when Jupiter rose over the peak of the roof of my house and second when it passes above a large live oak tree next to my driveway. The unsteadiness of the air causes this fuzzines. The Great Red Spot appears near the end of the sequence. Just "ahead" of it along the dark Souther Equatorial Belt is a "wake" of dark waves from a smaller spot sliding along the northern edge of the belt.
TO WATCH THE ANIMATION: click All Sizes above the image and select Original if it does not already appear selected. Time-wise, the individual frames are between 5 and 6 minutes apart.
Scope and mount supplied by 3RF (see www.3rf.org).

documentary Dragon Beach by Wai Mar Nyunt (Burma) and Aada Niilola (Finland)
animation Elina Minn
"Shamans live between two worlds: the one we can see with our eyes, and the one that we can only see with our souls. In this in-between space lives the female protagonist of 'Dragon Beach', and it is here that Wai Mar Nyunt and Aada Niilola's hypnotic visual poem of a film takes place. As a 14-year-old, she was singled out by a mysterious man in a dream, who told her that she was the chosen one, and later on she was rescued from dying by a deceased brother from a past life. Today, she is grown-up and can herself describe her supernatural abilities, which allow her to talk to the gods and the restless souls. And to help her fellow humans in the Burmese society, which is here seen from a different angle than one is used to - no matter if one lives outside Burma or in the country itself. 'Dragon Beach' takes the telephone to the other side, and poses the question if the world around us is no more than a reflection of our visual and cognitive habits. "

The most fun job I have ever had! I made this museum paper models for this animation. I'm so happy that I got to work with one of Columbus, Ohio's finest gems, Spacejunk Media.
