RE-ANIMATED SPAWN

Recently I ran across this old character who said to me,

"I was quite a dandy in my day, son. In fact, if you don't mind me tooting my own horn, I have still got it! Mark my words, some day I will be a star in one of those new-fangled animated films, just you wait and see!!"

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45mm lens using Fuji 400-H film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Once again, I'm not going to confirm that I will make cartoons - I would use AfterEffects or similar, but it's quite expensive...

If you know of a free animating program (like AfterEffects) which could be used for virtual puppet show animation, please let me know :D

Yesterday I found this drawing (image 1). This is one of the early drawings of Marc Davis, animator of Aurora in original 'Sleeping Beauty', and I thought that it looks very similar to Elle Fanning. What do you think?

The picturesque little harbour of Lower Fishguard known locally as Lowertown or Abergwaun (mouth of the Gwaun) or Y Cwm in Welsh. Quiet at this time of year but will soon awaken to become a thriving harbour full of boats of all shapes and sizes.

The streets of Hollywood in DCA make great subjects for architectural photography. I'm sure the new Buena Vista Street will be even more picturesque when it opens in June.

This is a 3 exposure HDR shot by leaning against a tree instead of a tripod. I love being here in this place in my aunt's village. It has of course changed with time, the little village getting more shops and more homes springing up, yet it retains that quaint charm and quite. The house sits on a large property where three or four of the brothers have homes amidst tall standing rubber plantations. Lambs, hens add to the daily chores ..there are rubber sheets to be beaten in machines and dried in the sun, in smoke chambers made for them and the day's work goes on and on. The women of the house work alongside helps who come in.

I had to have her for my animators collection! She is sooooo cute! I love Tink! So glad Disney decided to make her.

I felt like making a LEGO version of the Jaiden Animations character and her flying creature.

For the background, I tried out using some sheets of glass between layers of the set to help create a foggy atmosphere.

This is something very different. My interest in droplets also reached the drawing board. This took me months to make and it has 1000 hand-drawn unique frames.
