Those who know this young man will not need an introduction!!!
Whilst you can see his quills, he is not a hedgehog though people still think, despite his tiny stature that he is.
Photographed indoors using available window light and a macro lens as he likes his warmth.
nb. The boy had a sandbath in the early hours of yesterday morning so he's actually covered in chinchilla sand!! I wiped his mouth for his photo lol!!!

The cows may be the only ones who truly appreciate the return of the Starlings. This one is for the Smile on Saturday group whose theme is “ animal face”.
I often think Luke is part cat. He will cuddle with you. He will follow you everywhere. He barks at everyone he meets and he sounds loud and mean but he is basically telling you to come and pet him. He is so loving it is crazy.
Smile on Saturday
This wasn't a close encounter as it was taken at a Bird Sanctuary, in fact THE bird sanctuary, the ICBP in Newent, Gloucestershire, looking after all kinds of Birds of Prey. Unfortunately closed now, it was a great day out.
My Cairn terrier companion after I had been unwell, was a Houdini, escaping from our and friends' houses and gardens, mischievous and knowing, sometimes appearing to understand what I was thinking before I, myself, understood it.

Sometimes home doesn't have
four walls and a window...
it has two eyes and a heartbeat.
This is our handsome Honeys - he is 19 years old,
and always makes me smile 😊 HSOS!
I have a grandcat and a granddog and even a cat nephew. But I have no cute face shots of my grands that were taken by me, and I'm pretty sure my sister will be posting a photo of my feline nephew. So here is Rufus, my Connecticut neighbor's cat. We called him "the philosopher cat" because he would sit on his porch for hours staring in one direction, seemingly contemplating life on Alewife Cove. He's been gone for several years now, but I still think about him often. And he looks a lot like my grandcat! ^-^
Toby is a crossbreed Cavalier, Cocker Spaniel, He has a lovely gentle nature

This is my oldest cat, Kiwi. She is 15 years old and still acts like a kitten. I guess you are as old as you feel...
Thanks for your visit. HSoS!
Ziggy is a dog I met years ago, playing a spirited game of fetch with another dog at a huge park by the sea. They even did some swimming at the shoreline! A Border Collie mix, he certainly had the energy and focus of that wonderful breed. Here he is, eyes on the soon to be thrown tennis ball, all wet and ready for more fun and games! I really liked him and this photo I took of him. Though it may be from years ago, he has always stayed in my mind. Dogs do that: they are so wonderful!
