Cautious, but not that bothered sheep eyeing us on the way up the Torr Head. I deliberately used the title of a Cranberries song - a band that has "Ireland" written all over it :) :) :)

Torr Head, a slight detour on the Causeway Coastal Route is the closest point between Scotland and Ireland and offers spectacular views of Mull of Kintyre.

Photographié au parc de la Garenne, dont la vocation est de recueillir et soigner les animaux blessés et de les soigner avant de les relâcher.

J'ignore si les 3 loups qui y vivent retrouveront la liberté, vu l'étrange politique concernant les loups menée par la Suisse ! (on favorise leur réintroduction, mais dès qu'ils tuent quelques moutons, on les élimine sans état d'âme. Il faudrait peut-être les inciter à devenir végétariens ⁉️)

Mais dans ce nouveau parc, entièrement repensé et nettement agrandi, les animaux semblent être à l'aise, surtout les loups qui bénéficient d'un vaste espace.

Cela dit, je suis contre l'idée de mettre des animaux en cage, d'une façon générale, sauf si le but en est la préservation de l'espèce.

“Please don’t eat the daisies” is actually the name of a TV series from 1960 starring Doris Day and David Niven. I vaguely remember seeing a few episodes when I was growing up. How is that for a throwback Thursday! Although these deer are cute, we did not appreciate the ones that crossed the busy highways. We bumped into a deer that caused minimal damage to the front of our car as she ran in front of us. There was seemingly no damage to the deer as she ran off. We were thankful that this was our only run in with wild animals.
