Cameras are focussed on Andy Murray as he serves at the start of his match against Stefanos Tsitsipas on Centre Court, Wimbledon, 2023.

I have followed Andy since he was a teenager and have seen him play many times in London - at Queens, the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2, Wimbledon No 1 court for Davis Cup as well as in Dubai but this is the first time I have been lucky enough to see him at the Wimbledon Championships. One off my bucket list :)

This pillar box was painted gold to celebrate Andy Murray's tennis performance at the 2012 Olympics.

Two leading British sportsmen came out on top in their events today. First, Lewis Hamilton raced to victory in the 2016 Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, while down the road in London, Andy Murray picked up his historic second Wimbledon Tennis Championship title. Nice one lads ... :-))

andy murray wins the davis cup match for GB v Japan

to choose the right one - he's pretty superstitious about this stuff.

Onsens are the best part of Japan. And they're everywhere!

Britain's magnificent Olympic team of men and women have topped out on the medals chart in Rio 2016, Brazil. They totalled the most medals in either home or away Games in more than 100-years. So far they've collected 66 medals, 27 Gold, 22 Silver, 16 Bronze, and will pick up either another Gold or Silver in tonight's boxing. Nice one, boys and girls, you're all Olympic champions ... :-))

Taken a year ago at Wimbledon.

Fingers crossed today......

I have no nails - Andy Murray has just won his game with Stanislas Wawrinka - and it took ages and it was so close - it would be so good to have a Scotsman win Wimbledon. Come on Andy:)))

Please, you must help me a little here, I think I have worked out the game, but I have some questions?

They put the net in the middle of the pitch! and if the ball hits the net they loose!

They wont play in the rain!!

They stop for a drink every few minutes!!!

No one knows how long each match will last!!!!

I can't follow the numbering system at all, but I will ask about this on another day.

One more thing....Do they get paid lots of money?

Ahh; now this I understand.
