This really odd-looking fellow was on the Ottawa-Toronto bus reading the book 'How to Make Friends and Influence People.'
Der Stefan Andres Brunnen wurde 1978 zu Ehren des berühmtesten Sohnes der Stadt Schweich errichtet. Szenen aus berühmten Büchern von Stefan Andres wurden dargestellt, und natürlich darf auch sein eigener Kopf nicht fehlen.
Geboren wurde Stefan Andres in Trittenheim im Jahre 1906, noch als Kind zog er mit seinen Eltern nach Schweich um. In den 1950er Jahren war er einer der meistgelesensten deutschen Autoren.

Photographers view
Finally Mother Nature wanted to give me a beautiful sunset. This day it kind of happened the opposite way of what it uses to do. It wasn’t one cloud the whole day, but I went to the location anyway. And as time went and the sunset got closer, clouds started popping out from nowhere, just to please my sensor!
I shot a few okay landscape shots during the sunset though, but when it started to fade I went for a little walk. Into the woods, up, down, between, under, almost falling, and suddenly a lookout I didn’t know of appeared in front of my eyes. It’s maybe a little hard to see on the photograph, but I’m standing about 1 meter from the edge and it probably was 5-10 meters down.
The sunset was about to say goodnight, but some colours still filled the sky with glory.
The photograph
This is probably the photograph from this session that I’m the most happy with. The view from here was amazing and I feel I got to capture the feelings I experienced at the location. What I like the most about the photograph is probably the high point of view and the cyan coloured water.
The location
Again the same place as lots of my other photographs. The location is called Karlsvika and is where my family has a cottage. There are just so many possibilities here and I’d never been to this exact place so it was very nice to find it.
Where did the frame go?
Haha, I changed my mind… Again…
I’ve tried so many types of frames, but I always seem to come back to these simple ones with
just a small shadow. So I replaced this photo (which had a black frame) with this.
Why? I think it looked messy on my stream and the pictures turned out to small. The frame got to much attention I think. I like to keep things simple, but I also need to experiment some. Yeye, back to old business!

Staden breder ut sig och på andra sidan jordvallen växer en ny stadsdel upp - Kartbergets villaområde
För inte så länge sedan växte en skog här, men skogen är skövlad och borta, borta är likaså den lilla idyllen på Kartberget i Karlstad med Klarälven sakta flytande strax nedanför.
Här står nu snart 66 st lyxiga villor inflyttningsklara.
Ett avtryck som ger intryck.
