The event was to raise money for The Heritage Foundation of 9/11 and Miki and others took time out from their busy training schedule for this worthy cause. The two-time Japanese national champion, 2007 World champion and 2009 World bronze medalist also took time before the show to chat with me about preparations for this Olympic year and her programs this season.

A type of Japanese "caviar" from Alaskan Salmon. Although some have a difficult time with the texture, many appreciate its salty, refreshing flavor.

Her first exhibition outside of Japan at London's White Cube gallery, Ando's paintings of girl-children suggest a corrupted innocence. Note the abdominal bump and, what you cannot see here very well, hairy fingers. There's also the suggestion of the Virgin Mary with the hand gestures.
A special dish served occasionally at Ando. Slices of tuna marinated in Sake, soy sauce, and mirin served over a bowl of rice and topped with chiso leaf.
Estava quase desistindo de postar fotos por aqui. Ando sem paciência com as frescuras do Flickr, já tinha postado essa foto e ela não aparecia por nada, enfim consegui.
Esse esmalte é lindo! Sou apaixonada por ele! Tem um tom de nude delicado, acho super chique! No anelar eu estava com o canto dos pássaros, achei a diferença bem sutil! Gostei bem mais dessa versão do usinho, acho que combinou super bem!
