Todays challenge on Photochallenge.org was Camera.
So I got out my old Pentax camera and took this shot, which I kind of like
I enjoyed using the film Camera, but with Digitals it is so much better for me can play around and experiment without the cost of getting film developed
Really enjoying this daily challenge and it makes me think of and get shots that would never have crossed my mind other wise
Hope everyone has had a good weekend

Taken about 6 weeks ago in Petticoat Lane Market, located in London's East End, which is mostly a clothing market and has it's main day on Sundays although it operates to a lesser extent on week days as well. I had one of my old Rolleiflex TLR cameras with me and I was instantly attracted to the composition of these rather elegant looking mannequin heads so I set up to take a shot. Just as I was pushing the shutter button I realised that there was some shouting coming my way from the other side of the stall. The stall holders, a couple of ladies and a chap were all telling me, in quite an animated way, that I wasn't to take photos of the mannequin heads. By the time it registered with me what it was they were shouting about I'd already taken the shot. Instead of being confrontational I apologised profusely and told them, truthfully, that I never thought there would be any problem with taking a shot of something that hundreds of people walked past every day. It just seemed odd. At any rate, they soon calmed down and I went on my way but this will always be one of those pictures that when I look at it will remind me of that rather uncomfortable moment.
