Here's how the steps looked once the carpet had been removed. That had to happen so the anaglypta could be applied to the sides and the metallic paint finish applied.

I painted and stained the anaglypta wallpaper to bring out the delicate raised detail.
Dining room is open to the kitchen area.
The dining room measures 11' x 11'5".
The door on the right is a large pantry/closet. Great for tons of storage!
Beech laminate flooring. Crown molding. Ceiling is anaglypta wallpaper, to look like tin!
We also bashed the boarding off the beam - at which point it looked less crack den, more bomb site - and we got too depressed to photograph.
Kitchen units. Yellow anaglypta walls with white/yellow tiles. Old weighing scales attached to tiles. Space for oven in gaps between units.
Current fire surround in reception room 2. Behind board is space for a fire insert. Shows heavily patterned carpet and green anaglypta wallpaper. Some tiles on fireplace are cracked and the surround will need replacing.
Made using an image from my personal vintage photo collection, anaglypta (embossed wallpaper) and puff & acrylic paint. Traded to Gary at May 2011 Milwaukee live trade.
