This full-size blue whale at the American Museum of Natural History in New York is one of the most impressive displays I have ever seen - the sheer size inspires awe.

T Rex was the apex predator of the late Cretaceous Period, 70-65 Million BCE. Growing to some 40 feet in length, they instilled terror in prehistoric North America where they reigned king. Amongst the last of the dinosaurs, they died out after the cataclysm that doomed the last of their kind.

as there had been an earlier gathering in the Central Archives
