This MOC has inexplicably taken a life of its own after almost having lost the preliminary pics for a couple of years and then finally posting them last June. The unexpected overwhelming response on those few pics kinda forced my hand into rebuilding it and fully upgraded the external structure plus the chandelier which filled in the gaping hole in the ceiling from the initial pics.
Completed just in time for Brick Fest Live Meadowlands NJ in July, displayed at the Greenberg's Train & Toy Show in August and at Brickfair LEGO Fan Festivals Somerset NJ during Halloween weekend. Somehow made its way into the BrickFair program guide back cover and the table of contents in BrickJournal #37 December issue. Next stop tomorrow Friday December 18, 2015 at Barnes And Nobles Menlo Park.

DGS 50345 Maschen Rbf (Mswf) - Bamberg
Heute möchte ich Euch ein Bild zeigen, welches in der letzten und der gefühlt bisher einzigen längeren und stabileren Schönwetterphase hier im Norden in der letzten Woche entstanden ist. Am Vormittag des 11. August 2022 bin ich nach dem morgendlichen Besuch in Buensen an der P-Bahn hinüber nach Marxen an Güterbahn gewechselt. Da aktuell auf der Strecke von Hamburg nach Hannover in mehreren Abschnitten gebaut wird, fahren diverse Züge die Umleitung via Rotenburg/Verden. So auch der obige interessante Containerzug. Bei diesem handelt es sich um eine Austragsfahrt für DB Cargo, die aktuell von Hectorrail ab Maschen nach Bamberg traktioniert wird. Es gibt noch einen weiteren von Hectorrail ab Maschen übernommenen Umlauf nach Nürnberg Hafen. Diese beiden Leistungen wurden in den letzten Wochen schon von verschiedenen Lokomotiven der Baureihen 151, 182 und 185 bespannt. Ich hatte Glück und konnte eine der von MRCE Dispolok übernommenen TRAXX-Lokomotiven fotografieren. Die ehemals schwarze 185 564 wurde an Hectorrail Deutschland verkauft und dementsprechend in den Unternehmensfarben um lackiert. Die nun als 241.103 durch die Lande fahrende Elektrolok ist auf den Namen "Amidala" getauft worden. Nachdem in Buensen schon die drei anvisierten Nachtzüge wunderbar geklappt hatten, ging auf der Güterbahn munter weiter. Es rollte alle 10-20min ein Güterzug im Licht in Richtung Süden vorbei. Neben dem obigen Containerzug waren noch ein paar weitere nette Sachen dabei, aber das ist dann eine andere Geschichte...
Attendees were able to capture this scene during the event with the modified chandelier that doesn't cover the back window and the lighting effect similar to the original.
Quizzed them about the chandelier and kids easily were able to identify the inverted clear mugs faster than most non AFOL adults.

Apparently, Chandra Meehan is changing some of her old gachas into Nextup vendors at her store. Amidala which is NeoGeisha accessories is one of them. I'm wearing a hairpiece and a set of the fans from that set. It comes with tattoo makeup too but obviously not Evo X so I am not wearing that. Hopefully, a lot of them will gradually return in this new format.

I'm super happy to present my part of the Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Collaboration! The collab depicts several levels from the beloved classic video game, leading up to the Release of The Skywalker Saga game later this year. I had the honor to build the first level of Episode II, Discovery on Kamino, one of my personal favorites from the game! This was a great chance to finally use my Jango Fett figure, again, one of my favorites from my collection. “One Movie, one MOC” was the topic.
Today there are 8 STAR WARS Movies. Each Movie a masterpiece and one-of-a-kind. Now it is time to celebrate the movies. The goal of this year’s final round is to catch one movie (episode 1-7, Rogue One) with your MOC.
Because there were no limits for the size of the MOC I decided to build something that I wanted to build for a long time. Until now there never was the right opportunity for this MOC but today I take advantage of a situation an build it:
The Petranaki-Arena on Geonosis, a location of STAR WARS Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
I didn’t chose the fight with the arena monsters, because what really impressed me when I watched the movie in cinema was the number of Jedi and lightsabers. After so many years of only talking about the Jedi or hearing them, now a huge number is in action to fight for the good…

Here's my part of the CWLug Star Wars The Clone Wars collab. The scene is from the 7th episode of the third season and depicts Aura Sing's failed assassination attempt on Senator Padmé Amidala. While the diorama itself didn't come out as well as I wished it too, I am quite happy with the detail shots, which will be uploaded in the next few days.

Thorn led a detachment of Coruscant Home Security Guard Shock troopers to escort Senator Padmé Amidala on Scipio.
During the battle, Thorn managed to make one of the most epic last stand of the entire Clone Wars.
The whole external structure was also built for this but sadly didn't take any pics of it. There's not much left, but better than nothing and will hopefully rebuild the vignette in the future to get better pics and/or possibly a much bigger diorama truly fit for a queen.
Just remembered that I wanted to make a chandelier to hang in the middle of the room to complete the scene.
See, I said there'd be more. This time they're taken from the art book for the Phantom Menace.
These ones are a bit less obvious than last time. I guess cos it was the start of a new era the designs were a little wilder. So this round we've got:

Obi-Wan Kenobi - Doug Chiang
Qui-Gon Jinn - Iain McCaig
Padme Amidala - Iain McCaig
So that's all them named. It's really interesting to see these glimpses of the direction the prequel trilogy could have gone in. The Sith Knight as it's called in the book is especially neat, I got massive inquisitor vibes off him. He's got the same vibe as the Knights of Ren too, with his armour looking more organic. Colour wise I've no idea how accurate it is to what McCaig envisioned, as the images of him don't have any colour. I thought he looked like he'd use a paler colour scheme, so I went for greys instead of black.
And that's the lot. Back to scrolling with you.
Here are 5 of my prequel trilogy protagonists I've made in the past year or so. It's almost been a year since I made my TPM figures, but I only made Qui-Gon then. For Attack of the Clones I made Padme, and then for Revenge of the Sith I made Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu.
I plan on posting a similar picture with my villains later this week. In the meantime, let me know which of these you like best! Thanks guys :)
Ever since I came out of my dark ages, I wanted to get Queen Amidala in her red dress. But the minifig is too expensive for my taste, so I've made a version for just a fraction of the price of the minifig :D
R2-D2, my favorite droid, he still makes me laugh every time i watch Star Wars.
A resourceful astromech droid, R2-D2 served Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker in turn, showing great bravery in rescuing his masters and their friends from many perils. A skilled starship mechanic and fighter pilot's assistant, he formed an unlikely but enduring friendship with the fussy protocol droid C-3PO

This is a MOC of the Throne Room from Theed Palace of Naboo (which is 'Caserta Palace' in real life).
This is my largest project so far and atm only existent as a digital model... that's why the images are partially so dark, since sadly I haven't figured out lightening of indoor room with Studio, yet.
Minifigures are missing as well since they are not available in Studio, at least not printed parts. I was imagining Nute Gunray, some Battle Droids, Cpt. Panaka and Queen Amidala (of course the impressive 679930 version of her <3). Also, the statues are supposed to have printed bodies, e.g. of Chancellor Palpatine (76383), Naare, Garindan and Dol Guldur (no rings included).
Concerning the mosaics, I took a lot of inspiration from Katie Walker.

Hectorrail gibt ihren Loks gerne allerhand verschiedene Namen, so sind auch mehrere von Star-Wars Charakteren vertreten. Als "Amidala" wurde die 241.013 getauft, die erst 2022 als 185 564 von MRCE gekauft wurde. Zeitgeich wurde auch die 185 571 als 241.014 übernommen, sie trägt den Namen "Ackbar".
Am 14. Juni war die 241.013 mit einem Kesselwagenzug von Großkorbetha nach Basel unterwegs, wobei ich sie zwischen Weingarten und Karlsruhe-Durlach fotografierte.

I wanted to make Padmé for my Attack of the Clones series because the arena outfit is my favorite of hers for the trilogy.
For the figure, I used electrical tape for the belt and bands around the arms, procreate for the pouches, and painted the rest.
She's armed with a completely custom sculpted E-5 Droid blaster which was an absolute bitch to make but I'm really proud of it.
