Volterra, Via Lungo le mura del mandorlo… un punto panoramico “fronte-retro”.
Coloro che (non pochi) si avventurano fin lassù per ammirare il Teatro Romano sottostante, sicuramente potranno godere anche della vista di ciò che si trova alle loro spalle.
Uno scorcio di Volterra che, pur avendo come sfondo un antico palazzo rimaneggiato nel tempo alla bell’e meglio, con la fioritura di quel terrazzo, il verde rampicante e le vetrine con le pregevoli creazioni in oro della Fabula Etrusca, è da considerarsi a ragion veduta uno dei luoghi più ameni della città.
Particolarmente apprezzato dal visitatore comune, attratto più dalla "spontaneità del bello naturale” che non dal “fascino inculcato dell’incomprensibile”, così caro a quell’elitarismo culturale baciato(si) da un’aura di ostentato intellettualismo, che inevitabilmente ci riconduce a “Vacanze intelligenti”. L'episodio del film “Dove vai in vacanza?” (1978), con la Buzzicona, moglie di Sordi, che si ritrova alla Biennale di Venezia nella duplice veste di “turista” prima e quindi di “inconscia installazione vivente”, scambiata per opera d’arte da un gruppo di “intenditori del ramo”, intenti a definirne il significato e a disquisire sulla sua valutazione.

Se quel tratto di Via Lungo le mura (ma non è l’unico esempio, potrei citarne molti altri) ha un suo fascino particolare, non è (solo) per la presenza dell’installazione in tubi Innocenti (non so se d’Autore) che sostiene la caratteristica insegna della citata attività artigianale, ma anche per l’opera di quella gente comune che ha avvertito il bisogno di esprimere il proprio amore per la città offrendo, ad arte e con semplicità, un piccolo ma importante contributo all’abbellimento e al decoro dell'arredo urbano, senza demandare alcunché ad interventi di interlocutori esterni, accompagnati magari da una certa fama ma certamente non animati .da medesimo amore.

Les restes d'un aqueduc romain dans un mur du chemin de Narcel à Sainte Foy-lès-Lyon.
Ces restes font partie de l'aqueduc du Gier, ou du Pilat, qui est le plus important des quatre aqueducs desservant Lyon. D'une longueur avoisinant 75 kilomètres, l'aqueduc amenait les eaux du Gier jusqu'aux quartiers hauts de la ville. Quatre piles sont encore debout quelques mètres plus loin. Mais ils ne sont pas entretenus par la commune en dépit de leur grande valeur
Ameno è un paese posto sulla riva orientale del lago d’Orta, ha poco meno di 900 abitanti ed è in provincia di Novara. Il suo territorio ha una certa importanza storica di carattere archeologico dovuta a ricerche effettuate nel corso del 20° secolo che hanno portato alla luce tombe e reperti che vanno dall’età del bronzo (15° secolo a.C.) fino alla Roma imperiale.

When I say be aware I mean, mentally, emotionally ( even and steady) clear headed and leery.

El nacedero del río Urederra, con sus espectaculares aguas de color turquesa, es uno de los enclaves naturales más espectaculares de Navarra. Se halla en el Parque Natural de Urbasa, bajo el llamado Balcón de Pilatos, un anfiteatro rocoso impresionante, al que subimos posteriormente. La ruta entre la poblada vegetación es muy amena y transcurre por sendas acondicionadas que permiten disfrutar de una caída de agua de 600 metros en épocas de lluvia. Con el paso del tiempo, esta caída de agua acabó modelando ese anfiteatro rocoso. En la ruta se suceden más cascadas y pozas de color turquesa, difíciles de encontrar en otro río peninsular. Al final del recorrido hay un puente que atraviesa a la otra orilla para apreciar el nacimiento del río Urederra.
