The Spheres are one of Amazon's incredible perks for employees. Located in the middle of their main highrise campus in downtown Seattle, they recreate the environment and climate of a tropical rainforest in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. They're open to the public for free by reservation every first and third Saturday of the month. If the timing is right, they're a must see tourist destination in Seattle.

I was greeted this morning by the cacophonous squawks, squeaks, chirps, and screams of a wild flock of Amazon parrots. These parrots have been living the foothills of San Diego's East County for many years and decided to visit my neighbor's orange tree for a snack. They sure make for one heck of an alarm clock!
Finally we are back at the Iquitos Airport which is where this trip begin. 5 days ago I would have absolutely no idea how Amazon jungle truly look like. This trip probably does not produce the most amazing photos, and I probably won’t call it “comfortable” when you have to constantly deal with wet humid condition and lots of mosquitos. However, the overall experience living and navigating in the jungle for 5 days does triumph all the negatives. It’s an experience that has been missing in all my years of travel. I have no doubt in my mind that I will come back sometime in the future
