Peru Puerto Maldonado is at the southern gateway to the Amazon jungle, with Madre de Dios River weaving through it. A visit to this region affords visitors with easy access to Tambopata National Reserve, a wide array of excellent jungle eco-lodges, and glimpses of oxbow lakes, macaws at clay licks, and maybe even a giant river otter.

The Spheres are one of Amazon's incredible perks for employees. Located in the middle of their main highrise campus in downtown Seattle, they recreate the environment and climate of a tropical rainforest in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. They're open to the public for free by reservation every first and third Saturday of the month. If the timing is right, they're a must see tourist destination in Seattle.

O trinta réis de bico vermelho, também chamado de andorinha de bico vermelho, é uma ave marinha, presente no Brasil ao longo do litoral.
Estudos recentes demonstram que tanto adultos como jovens podem apresentar cores diferentes (preto e vermelho) de bico e pernas, e que seus ovos são manchados de preto, mas podem ter cores cinza, creme ou marrom. Na época do acasalamento geralmente apresentam o dorso cinza, a parte inferior do pescoço até o rabo na cor branca e um chapéu preto. Fora da época da cópula expõem a fronte branca.
Os pares são monogâmicos. O ninho é simples e construídos em terreno seco ou em arbusto. A fêmea coloca normalmente dois ovos. Os filhotes nascem nidífugos, cobertos de penas e capazes de caminhar e se alimentar sozinhos. São cuidados por ambos os pais.
Esses animais são gregários e piscívoros.
