Our Amazon adventure started in Puerto Maldonado, from the Peruvian side. Staying near the Reserva Nacional Tombopata area. It was so hot the first 2 days, I didn't think I could last for the planned 5 days.

With five of us wedged into a wobbly, four-seater plane, this is a selection of shots from our sweaty one-hour flight from Manaus, in the Brazilian Amazon, to Novo Aripuana -even deeper in the Amazon- and back. Mi primer pedido a Amazon, de un libro de CSS al que había echado el ojo en la biblioteca de la UPM. Jo, que ilusión, tras muchos días esperándolo, llegar a casa por la noche, y tener encima de la mesa un paquete. Todos los días cuando llegaba, lo primero que hacía era pensar que en la mesa había algo más que cuando la dejé por la mañana, pero siempre estaba igual. Hoy, ya sin esperanza, ahí estaba al entrar. Me recuerda un montón a cuando esperaba una carta de alguien, llegaba a casa y miraba la mesa esperando encontrarla ahí, y tras muchos días de desilusión, por fin llega el día en el que la descubres esperándote, y sientes una alegría indescriptible....

Ya que nadie me escribe ahora, creo que este no será el último libro que pida a Amazon.

So…. Amazon is essentially barring Australian customers from using any non Australian Amazon site by July 1st and claims that we can still access their products from their Australian site. Unfortunately the only dolls there are overpriced, bland blonde blue eyed dolls and not even a single articulated doll.

I mustered up some doll savings and bought three of these AA Musician dolls cuz I’ve been waiting forever for Amazon to get their Dark Brown tone MTM up and I knew if I hesitated I would regret not getting at least some form of articulated body in this skin tone even if I think it’s one of the worst designed ones Mattel has produced.

I had my Fashionistas on painted bodies but I’ve been trying to upgrade my painted body hybrids whenever I can cuz of how delicate painted bodies are. I;m planning for the last body for my incoming AA Holiday doll, but I’m debating on getting more as back up, or if I’ll take my chances on Amazon putting the MTM dolls up by July 1st :/
