When the water is warm and the nights are cold, the most amazing things happen as the sun comes up. These two knew it was coming - they were out on the water at first light - with camera at the ready.
I look at Theo & wonder how I grew him! My body has done an amazing thing. These lovely ladies in my life enjoying Theo when he was inside me. 😍
We had a real show-stopper-of-a sunset several nights back with the sky changing moment by moment until we were greeted with this amazing show of colors just prior to darkness.

The world's smallest operating model train set was built by New Jersey resident David Smith, a model train enthusiast. The tiny railway consists of a five-carriage train that travels on a circular track through a tunnel while being 35,200 times smaller than its standard-sized version. The village showcases a model shop for storing the tiny trains. It costs Smith £6 to build the train set.

Fish skeletons are fantastically delicate and papery looking, but they tend to be armed with various vicious sharp thin bits also. I love that contradiction.

I've always liked the front cover of this album, but until a couple of weeks ago I thought it was just a drawing that someone had done. It's actually a picture of a Jake Harvey sculpture on a hill near Langholm in the Scottish borders.
Amazing Things.... the local arts center in downtown Framingham - a great place for music, theater, art and photography! Took this photo as I dropped off some photos to be considered for their annual juried photography show... fingers crossed!

First let me say that our Hummingbirds do not have solid yellow coloring! This Orange Crowned Warbler figured out how to hover long enough to drink from the hummingbird feeder outside my kitchen window. When it comes in to feed it usually makes about 4 quick trips resting in between. I'm now watching to see if it can figure out how to fly backwards while it's hovering!

This is where Dad has his surgery. Believe it or not (if you watch Oprah - I don't, my sister had to tell me!), his doctor was Dr. Oz from her show. He's a great guy, very friendly and showed us pictures of Oprah, lol.
My mom and I were in the ICU waiting room all day and night for a while. I took a break to get some air, had camera in hand, must do what I have to!...too bad the local rent-a-cop didn't like me taking pictures of buildings in NY...
