A migrant from Northern Europe, spotted this beauty on the roadside a few seasons ago in a beautiful setting. It frequented a tree stump that was at eye level and hence got some amazing shots the bird.
I maintained good distance using the TC and the light was jut perfect. This one was a male and a female was also nearby, but the female was more interested in digging up worms in the ground.

Whilst going through my archives I found this amazing shot of a whole series of Northern Lights images we had managed to get during one week in December in the Arctic region of Norway. The amazing thing is to see aurora borealis streaming up from behind a mountain.

Snowy Walkway...
A sudden snowfall blanketed the area and presented the opportunity to get some amazing shots.
The snow was blowing sideways and leaving streaky designs on the asphalt pathway through the park.

Feeding time, Mummy and junior! This was an amazing shot! They turned around so I got the perfect angle. The one on the left is Mum and the one on the right is Junior, juveniles feathers are still a brown colour rather than black.

I have been traveling, and decided to share a recent image from Copenhagen. What a wonderful city and a photographer's delight. This shot is from Superkilen park, which affords plentiful opportunities for photography and having fun. I was glad to go there after having seen amazing shots from some of my friends!
