A Ha-OIII-RGB composite of Messier 78 (NGC 2068) is my first attempt at this deep sky object and this type of post-processing. It was imaged in the northern hemisphere in my yard.
M78 is the brightest diffuse reflection nebula of a group of nebulae that includes NGC 2064, NGC 2067 and NGC 2071. This group belongs to the Orion B molecular cloud complex and is about 1,350 light-years distant from Earth.

Heart nebula (IC 1805) taken with my mono CMOS astro-camera with narrowband filters and then colored during post-processing with SHO (SII, Ha, OIII) palette. Image data was collected using my ES 102 mm telescope and the field of view (FOV) only covered about 2/3 of the nebula. The Pinwheel Galaxy M101 NGC 5457 is a face-on spiral galaxy 21 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. A new supernova (SN 2023ixf) was just discovered in M101 (starburst). This image was taken from my backyard with my Celestron Edge HD 9.25 telescope.
