1/2 an hour after getting emails that I sold a couple canvases, a ups truck showed up. My first canvas showed up! It was well packaged, plenty of protective shipping materials. Opened that bad boy up. It was a humbling experience to see something I made on my iPhone in a tangible real product. The colors are vivid, the framing is solid. The canvas has a nice texture to it. It was shipped in a timely manner.. If I had to nitpick one thing, the piece of hardware in the back that hangs it up (bracket) is tiny, I with they had gone with the long horizontal wire style. If that's the only complaint I have, you can say I'm mightily impressed overall. Great job @instacnvs

This was taken at Firangi Paani on a sunday , the lighting conditions were minimally low, cranked up the ISO, but not too happy with the results , I can see the grains !

This weeks #edit_ae challenge is called "Idle hands are the devils playground." We take our hands for granted, just assuming they will do our bidding. Well it's about time they fight back. alteregoz: @chrisreneannex any distance of viewing is ok by me, as the alternative is to walk away. To be honest I had to google the word asteism...had no prior knowledge of the word. "a backhanded compliment" if that was referring to the "I live to inspire outside the box thinking" statement, let me be more concise in my meaning. Usually edit challenges on instagram are based in one dimension ( ie: edit this house! Or, Show us something green! ) so about 5 months ago after getting a decent following on here, I decided to start challenges that were both eccentric and challenging. I often introduce new apps and give tutorials for specific challenges...and when someone gently bows out due to self degradation (I can't do it, it's too hard, I'm not good enough) I nudge them back with encouraging words. In fact @yentl09 has been my favorite case of overcoming fears and stepping outside their comfort zone. So I guess I should of said this as an alternative: I live to inspire those AFRAID to go outside of their box.

chrisreneannex: @alteregoz firstly, thanks again for your generous response. We don't find this very often in the fast paced ig world with thousands of images to consume. I am often guilty of fgrazing the buffet furiously gobbling as many as possible for fear of missing something sublimely delicious. Actually, the "your level of skill would add an interesting touch" was the perceived jab. I have no doubt in my mind that you are genuine in your encouragement to improve both skills with the apps and flexibility of imagination. The difference between me and @yentl09 is raw talent. I have no problem with posting my work on my annex feed or with creative imagination. I simply have little talent. I'm ok with that. Someone has to be Motzart's Salieri.

Shon-rai'ee had finally fulfilled her destiny. Raised for years as a shaman of the Khandorians, she was prepared for this day. The words to the ancient spell flowed out of her trembling lips, practiced a thousand times in boring training rituals. This time they had meaning. This would be the last time she ever had to say them, for today, she was to die. She was prepared for death, more so than expected. She always knew the time would come to fulfill her visionquest and protect her people. What was unexpected was the serene, calm feeling sh had wash over her. The elder spirits were with her. THE OOLAXIANS WOULD NOT CLAIM THE GAIA SPHERE THIS DAY. As the enemy closed in, teeth gnarling and weapons poised, the last word fell from her lips. Everything around her went eerily quiet for a few seconds. Then with the force of a thousand suns, the Gaia sphere exploded, taking with it every Oolaxian invader, their foul beast mounts, and her Chon-ti-auk, her life force. drzuum: The fact that this intrigues you do may mean you might want to project yr true feelings about the intellectual property of yr work. Above ppl have covered the difficulty of addressing afterwards but if from the getgo, yr followers know u take pride in owning the right to distribute yr own work, then you have then the right to say 'not cool'. I personally copy a lot of tumblr stuff for later use and have printed 1 or 2 but not from easily identifiable artists like yrself. That said, who'd not want an AE hangin up! It's a brittle area & u gotta be boss up front. IMHO of course.

mzmaddnezz: Personally, I find it unprofessional that they didn't ask if it's ok. It's not advertising for you, and these pictures are your business, a picture with your logo would do that. I would ask the person, if the picture is already displayed, if you could have your informational bio card in a frame next to it; as they do in galleries.
