Una de las cosa que me ha dado la fotografía es ver las cosas de una manera muy distinta a cómo se ven normalmente. Siempre mirando alrededor buscando algo diferente. Una de las locuras que me dio por hacer en mi última visita en solitario a Belaustegi. No será la mejor foto del lugar, pero diferente seguro que si. Y con eso me doy por satisfecho. Buena semana!!

Tenía ganas de volver a Uguzpe, ya que la vez que estuve, hace 2 o 3 años, no iba preparado para meterme al agua, lo cual limita mucho. Aunque no cayera mucha agua y la luz no fuera la ideal, el ambiente primaveral estaba en su punto, cosa que le viene de lujo a este tipo de fotos. Después de editarla dos veces desde cero, esto es lo que ha salido. Un foto complicada de editar. Al menos para mi que es mi talón de Aquiles. Además una foto de larga distancia que me ha hecho salir de mi zona de confort. De esas para ver en pantalla grande
Sin duda una de las mejores vistas de Euskadi cuando se dan las condiciones ideales. El madrugón del domingo a las 4:30 mereció la pena, aunque aún lo sigo arrastrando. Seguro que volveré muchas veces

Espectacular la ruta hasta esta imponente cascada metida literalmente en un pozo. Y digo literalmente porque la bajada es prácticamente vertical. Además de eso el suelo es de piedras sueltas, hojas, ramas, troncos secos que se rompían con la mirada y pequeños arroyos formados por la humedad que nos acompañaban durante la “caída”. Tampoco el llevar la mochila con el vadeador colgado de ella facilitaba las cosas. Al final, después de un buen susto, logramos posar los pies en tierra firme 😂😂😂 y pudimos entretenernos ahí abajo un buen rato hasta que @jorgereyazabal me apuntó con buen criterio que se nos hacía de noche y todavía había que trepar y volver hasta el coche!!. Although it was officially a sunny morning, the light was quite a bit dimmed by the wildfire smoke that has drifted down from Northren Minnesota and Ontario. The air was tinged with the blue gray haze that dominates the background. Still, it was, and always is, a thrill to see one of these magnificent birds lift off.
The dog days of summer are coming up and the Cranes are flying more often. They seem to like a nice long runway, with a bit of down slope if possible. They run and flap, flap and run until they get up enough airspeed. And then, off!

Ya tenía ganas de hacer alguna fotografía de este tipo. Y qué mejor lugar para probar que en una de las cascadas más bonitas que existen. A veces hacemos locuras madrugando o haciendo cientos o miles de kms y otras con la cámara en la mano y un poco de imaginación más cerca de casa. Aunque ese día también madrugué un huevo 😜

My trip to Norway was one of my biggest trips in my life. I really wanted to capture the borealis in video while there, in addition to moonlight video. Which can only be done with the Sony A7S or SII camera. I concentrated so much on video that my stills were few and far between. But I was happy with that. I learned a lot while using video and trying to transition to stills. I went with lofotentours.com They have a great tour company and did everything they could to make our trip a success. It's such a beautiful country. I really left my heart in Norway and want to go back someday soon for more photography and video.
My favorite scenes are the begining when we were walking through a frozen forest that had millions of clear drops of ice (looking like diamonds) that had frozen on the trees on the trail. It was breathtaking in real life and surreal. The other scene is when I was having a blur come into focus, and viewing the famous red cabins with a moon bow coming off of them towards the water in live action video. I hope you enjoy it.
