We decided to hit up a beach and grab some shots. It ended up being a little tough because for one, there aren't a lot of beaches in WA besides going to the coast (too far for that) and two, the available beaches are always super crowded and even then aren't very big. This worked out great though. I have tons to upload..

my sister ally and her friend samantha
they're both amazing girls and i am so blessed to have them in my life.
I have been working really hard to build my portfolio and trying to get in some paying customers.
The more girls I photograph I find that the ones who have no intention of being a model or have never modeled before are by far so much better than the girls who have modeled.
Ally if you remember I have photographed before and I have been waiting to work with her again, I got that opportunity last week.
She makes my job so easy. I barely have to direct her other than say, 'Oh my good, yes that's perfect.'
She is so natural in her poses, she moves her hands, head, body in the slightest way but each way is a great pose and comes across to me behind the camera as the perfect pose.
it is really hard to describe to someone how to pose or how to hold their hands but when you photograph a model like Ally she does it automatically.

we did this shoot in a cemetery... so i thought i would give this picture a dark and haunted feel. i personally love the silhouette of Ally's body and the glow of the head lights.
The B-25 was a versatile bomber that served with every major Allied country and in every theater of the war. I don't think I'll build all of these but I might build one more :) I'll probably design a few more variants, I need one to represent the North Africa/Mediterranean theater, perhaps a PBJ, and one to represent Panchito which is the B-25 I was lucky enough to ride on. (see my joy riding album for pics)

This is a little ally between a row of houses that a friend knew about so we both took a wonder over to it to get a couple of photos. I can see this location being used a few more times before it gets redeveloped and spruced up.
Oh yeah I promise the blond will return again very soon.

Well I think there might be a couple left to edit but this is about it for this set. Not too bad considering we only shot for 40 min or so. This set was interesting though non the less if you look through them all I tried out and learned some new editing styles that I might try out a little more. Practice makes perfect atleast thats what they say.

Trying out some new editing styles I feel like some of my work is getting repetitive want to have some different feels with my photos besides all sunny and happy at golden hour with a flare like I always do the photo does look a little dark but the more I play with it the more im content with where its at.

I was amazed at the detail and intricacy of this World War II tank model. Despite poor lighting, I think that still shows through. He spent more than four months building it and offered it to me for about $400. I would have considered it if I were a collector and had an extra room in my house. This particular model is a German Panzer II German tank (Panzerkampfwagen II), which played an important role in the early years of WWII during the Polish and French campaigns. It was used both in North Africa against the western allies and on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union. This was at the North Coast Military Collectors Show in April 2022 at the MAPS Air Museum near Canton, Ohio.
