Après un effort pour grimper au col de La Vanoise, en redescendant ce lac, situé à 2320m d’altitude et alimenté par le glacier de la Grande Casse, offre un superbe panorama .On le traverse à gué grâce à des dalles de pierres alignées en son centre. Ne chercher pas les vaches, elles n'y sont pas par contre, vous trouverez des famille marmottes qui jouent dans les montagnes.
After an effort to climb to the Col de La Vanoise, by going down this lake, located at 2320m altitude and fed by the Grande Casse glacier, offers a superb panorama . We cross it ford thanks to stones slabs aligned in its center. Do not look for the cows, they are not there however, you will find marmots families playing in the mountains.
C'est parce qu'on s'imagine tous les pas qu'on devra faire qu'on se décourage, alors qu'il s'agit de les aligner un à un.
A white ibis and an immature little blue heron strike similar poses as they search for food.

Beautiful, warming colors on a January morning, that I noticed in a garden I passed while walking up in the hills of Berkeley, California recently.
I guess even birds need to align their Chakras...
For what I could learn, this is a male Brandt’s comorant that chose his nest and is now "displaying" his blue throat to attract a female.

A lifer - and on the target list - found several of these beautiful gulls in the water. The birds just flew parallel to our small boat. And as soon as they aligned perfectly to the sun which was behind us, the water turned magically blue reflecting the beautiful sky above us.
These gulls, also known as the Great Black Headed gull, are a decently large bird species bigger than the others I have seen so far. They are migratory from Southern Russia, Mongolia and winter in India.

While setting up this image at the fantastic reef shelves of Montana de Oro Sp, my main focus was to align the patterns in the rock with the clouds. However, I also had to keep an eye out to ensure I didn’t accidentally fall off the cliff. After taking a few images, I noticed the guy sitting near the edge of another cliff to my left—something you must remember when shooting with an ultra wide-angle lens. My first instinct was to change my composition, but then I noticed that I liked the images with him in them as they provided scale to the picture. The sunset had not yet started to add colors to the sky, but I loved the dramatic blues and the matching drama in the water and the rocks.

A juvenile Green Heron displays perfect form as it flies past in front of the photographer. I especially like how the bird's two legs are almost perfectly aligned in this moment, making only the near leg visible. Just a glimpse of the hidden leg's backside claw is visible on the zoomed-in view.

Actually, I’m not a expert photographer for bird shots, but I never thought to see one of those. The planets were aligned when I was getting off the car with my camera in hand.
I only have a 150mm lens, so I had to come really closer to took this pic.
