No post adjusting of colors on this - this was the real color of the pool I found surrounding the yellow algae growing on the rocks.
Researchers at Bowling Green State University worked with NexSens Technology to deploy a new monitoring buoy in Sandusky Bay. Algal blooms in Lake Erie are a persistent problem, with the main concern being clean drinking water. This buoy is equipped with sensors to measure algae and provide advanced warning to managers at the Sandusky Big Island Water Works Intake.

It seems that the Algae grows real quick on Lake Pichola. People are employed to collect it. What they do with it, I have no idea.
