Berlin Alexanderplatz is a railway station in the Mitte district of Berlin's city centre. It is one of the busiest transport hubs in the Berlin area. The station is named for the Alexanderplatz square on which it is located, near the Fernsehturm and the World clock.

A late afternoon visit to the Christmas Market at the very busy Alexanderplatz in the east of the city. This is a major transportation hub, with S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, trams and busses all interconnecting here. The market is much more spacious than some others, but we didn't have time to return when it was dark.
