"Diamond portal" is the third in this little series of digital art using this blue/green colour palette and the lovely alcohol ink brushes by Alaina Jensen. Created in Procreate and Photoshop.
I'm starting to make Christmas presents. This is done with inks, airbrush and ink markers. I use isopropanol to thin the inks and I use a special mask of course. These are a lot of fun to make:-)

A bit more pattern play, this one is a bit of a mixture of Procreate on the iPad and then Photoshop.

I love painting these eggs! They are painted with ink on hollow goose and duck eggs. I like using Adirondack brand. Fun!
"Earth Spirit" is another piece of digital art created in both Procreate and Photoshop. The beautiful organic textures come from the delightful Procreate brushes from Alaina Jensen.
I'm not sure where the title came from I think it was influenced more by the colour palette.
My daughter has been asking for an elephant painting/drawing for a while but I just was not able to think of any ideas. Then I remembered something that I must have seen somewhere, where you sketch something on paper, cut it apart and then paint/color/doodle on each individual panel separately. Then, when all are finished, assemble them back together again.
Welp, here is my first attempt. I kind of like it but I did get impatient and rushed a couple of them so I am not super happy LOL. It is ink, gel pens, paint markers, india ink and Prismacolor pencils. I intended for each panel to measure 2.5" x 3.5" but decided to leave a .25" border on the outer 8.
There's quite a range of different techniques incorporated into these beads, plus lots of different surface embelishments.

I had to paint this from memory today because it was my view from a window...but now management has chosen to sell off a major part of this large property, including my back field...they are going to build back there and this past week I had to watch heavy equipment come through and saw, chop, and dig out much of the greenery...a sad week for me...All of the trees seen here and much, much more have been flattened
