Mt. Rundle is a jagged mountain that looms up behind the Vermillion Lake, the ridge of peaks runs for 12km south all the way to Canmore.
We stayed at the Vermillion Lakes for a few hours enjoying the scenery and waiting for the sunset; finally we witnessed one of the most breathtaking sunsets we ever saw!

ALBERTA, CANADA
This shot was from three years ago ... I wonder how it looks now. We had been there 20 years ago and then again when I took this shot and the way the glacier was receding was overwhelming.

I'm so proud of these mountains in Alberta, Canada that I'm moved to tears every time I lay my eyes on them. I'm glad i can finally do them justice....
Shot taken of Sunwapta Falls along the Icefields Parkway in Alberta Canada. It was a rainy day but the falls still looked very impressive and beautiful!
Hello my friends! I hope all of you are having a wonderful summer full of good things and lots to photograph! Smile. We have returned from our trip to Canada. Mixed reviews as we had smoke and/or rain the entire trip. Still it was great to get away and experience new things. This is the beautiful Athabasca Falls in Alberta, Canada.

The Mistaya River is a short river in western Alberta, Canada. It flows through the Canadian Rockies, and a section of the Icefield Parkway was built along its course.
Mistaya River originates in Peyto Lake, a glacial lake of typical blue colour (due to rock flour).

Shot of the Icefields Parkway in Alberta Canada leading into mountainous terrain. Actually, the whole 230 km parkway from Lake Louise to Jasper was basically a continuous ride through beautiful mountain scenery. Most scenic ride I have ever been on!
A backyard bird taken through my office window, but this one was on a small deck railing, possibly waiting it's turn at the feeder. It was cold and there was certainly lots of action at the feeder.
I do not know these guys well enough to ID with certainty. If I had to guess I would say that it is a female Common Redpoll. I suppose I have a 50% chance of being right.
