How many Cumbrian Coast Expresses have there been that didn't touch the Cumbrian Coast Line?

Following a landslide at Parton, near Whitehaven, the Cumbrian Coast Line was closed and unable to open in time for the Railway Touring Companies "Cumbrian Coast Express". Rather than cancel, the tour was re-routed to return via the Settle Carlisle and effectively became a "Cumbrian Mountain Express".

This Stallion appeared to be the lead stallion of a band with 8 horses. I was in a remote area and they gave me less than 5 minutes before taking off in the willows.

Used a new flash today for my macro. Still some bugs to work out in my brain but it worked well. Godox V480 can shoot flash at high speed firings which I have not been able to do previously.

Southern Alberta, Canada.

Macro.

I just could not get the whole sky in! The sky was lit up from North to South. The Rocky Mountains look so small compared to that awesome sky...just awesome!

The Canola fields in bloom are just so beautiful against the summer sky

Last night I went to the Legislature for two reasons. First to take some more pictures and second to play Pokemon Go. The front steps of the Legislature is a Poke Stop and there is a Poke Gym on the left side of the picture. The Legislature Grounds has lots of Poke Stops and is a favourite place to play Pokemon in the City. It is not unusual to see several hundred people with their eyes locked on the screens to suddenly run in unison when some one yells "Areodactyel." I have seen people run into trees in the dark. It is very funny.

Saw this one down in the Nordegg foothills in November. First one I have ever photographed.

A couple of shots around the valleys such a great place to be for sure.

Sunset at an abandoned ranch on the Alberta Prairie

We were invited to spend a few days at a cabin at Bonnie Lake Alberta, with our friends. The scenery in this part of Alberta is breath taking and the clouds made beautiful reflections on the still water.

A pair of bison seemingly, at least to me, discussing what type of shot to hit on a links type looking golf course.

It was a spectacle, really. Gorgeous spot!

Taken at Echo Dale, near Medicine Hat, Alberta. Echo Dale is a municipal park that runs along the South Saskatchewan river as it winds itself through Alberta and into Saskatchewan. In June of 2013, (due to the spring runoff - and originating in the Rocky Mountains), the South Saskatchewan (and other major rivers in Alberta) spilled over their banks and places like Echo Dale were temporarily closed. The river flows just in front of the hills in the background of this image.
