This car runs very good, although it does have an idle problem, it will idle fine at start-up and initial takeoff then when u come to the first stop the idle drops to around 400 rpm and stalls the car. So I drive with one foot on the brake and one foot on the accelerator at any stop .My research found cleaning the fuel injection intake may cure the problem, so if I get around to fixing it the price will increase. The Avenger handles really well and is very clean inside and out with one minor wrinkle in the passenger door which looks like it belongs there. Interior is in excellent condition. The Tires are almost new. The passenger door handle is missing from the outside, and the trunk lock has been messed up but the trunk release works fine from the inside. There are minor paint flaws that can be fixed with a professional buffing and some touch-up. Clean and clear title. It has not been smogged; you will have to do that. 167,000 Miles. Androy Hotel, 1213 Tower Avenue #3, Superior, Wisconsin. The Androy Hotel was built in downtown Superior in 1925. The architect was Roland Buck. When it opened in 1925, the Androy sported a jewelry store, barber shop (with an electric face steamer), and ballroom; its Fountain Grill included a soda fountain, coffee shop, and full dining room. The hotel’s offices and 140 guest rooms each included a telephone. For safety’s sake, the hotel had a fire alarm system (a gong on each floor) and a city fire alarm box at the clerk’s desk; the fire escape was enclosed. In 1926, as a scheme to raise money for the local VFW’s drum corps, Billie “The Human Fly” O’Brine escaped from a straight jacket while suspended upside down atop the hotel. After that he climbed the hotel’s nine stories and shinnied up its flag pole. He pulled in $203 from the crowd and took home half. The hotel was acquired by Regner Hotel Corporation in 1986, and is still going strong today.

On June 4, 1900, William C. Jayne and George G. Mason formed a partnership and opened the banking house of Jayne and Mason in a building on South Avenue, which later was the location of the Netzman warehouse, remaining there about five years or until the bank building at 11 East Main Street was erected in 1905. The new building was equipped with a steel lined vault with a heavy York door and time lock. It was protected by a modern burglar alarm system, and supplied with all modern equipment.
Eleven E. Main Street now houses Nest Things. A shop filled with lovingly used children's clothing, decorative items for the home, and many beautiful things.
But in 1905 the Jayne and Mason bank was much needed and appreciated by the general public in the territory of West Webster, Union Hill, Ontario, Walworth, Marion, Palmyra and Penfield. It proved to be a great success from the first day when nearly every business firm in the village and nearby area opened accounts. Although the bank started in a small way with $5000 capital, it grew in a few years to be a million dollar institution with deposits of over a million and a quarter.
The bank did general banking, financed and handled all five issues of United States Liberty Bonds during World War I, and had banking connections with Chase National Bank of New York City.
In the summer of 1930, the banking laws of the State changed and the private bank was forced to close its doors. In 1934 the New York State Legislature passed a law which permitted city banks to establish branch banks in certain designated trading areas of communities lacking banking facilities. Webster was selected as the first town in the State to have such a regional bank, and the Union Trust Company of Rochester, part of the Marine Midland Corp. was chosen to open the first bank.
This two story building features the classically inspired detailing found in Beaux Arts style commercial buildings of the late 19th and early 20th century. The first story features patterned brick walls in a rusticated design, large arched windows and door. Highly decorated brick lintels surround both the 1st story windows and doorways. Symmetrically placed 2/2 double hung windows are found in the 2nd story with decorative arched brick lintel and corner quoins. The buildings cornice included dentil, pointed, and horizontal bands of brick detailing.
The building is without question; the villages most sophisticated early 20th century commercial building and was certainly designed by an architect (whose identity has not been determined), as it shows an awareness of popular commercial building style at that time.

St Mary's church in Lapworth is one of the most rewarding and unusual medieval parish churches in Warwickshire. The visitor generally approaches this handsome building from the north where the sturdy tower and spire stand guard like a sentinel. It is unusual in standing apart from the main building and was originally detached but is now linked by a passageway to the north aisle, making the church almost as wide as it is long. The west end too is remarkably configured with a chantry chapel or room set above an archway (allowing passage across the churchyard below).
The church we see today dates mainly from the 13th / 14th centuries, with an impressive fifteenth century clerestorey added to the nave being a prominent feature externally, but within it is possible to discern traces of the previous Norman structure embedded below in the nave arcade. There is much of interest to enjoy in this pleasant interior from quirky carvings high in the nave to the rich stained glass in the chancel and north chapel (which has benefitted immensely from a newly inserted window where the east wall had previously been blank). The most interesting memorial is the relief tablet in the north chapel by Eric Gill.
Lapworth church has consistently welcomed visitors and remains militantly open now despite being surrounded by churches largely reluctant to re-open after Covid. Happily since Tony Naylor's fine new window was installed the previous alarm system that restricted access to the eastern half of the church (which I inadvertedly set off on my first ever visit, deafening the neighbours!) has been relaxed so that visitors can now enjoy the full extent of the interior and its fittings.
Another one of the old greats. Nobby used to be a caretaker and live in Chequers for 30 years before the council shut it down and kicked him out. He came back to show us how the alarm systems work.

A Place In Time
The Clock Tower on University Avenue in downtown Gainesville.

This structure's design is based on the architectural features found on the original 1885 courthouse and was completed in 1983 to house the old courthouse clock. Manu-factured by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in 1885, the clock bell was connected with the city's fire alarm system and the entire town could hear its ringing. Its intri-cate clock works required that it be wound every eight days. Ted Crom restored the clock and the citizens of Gainesville helped finance the construction through donations.

The secondary school #1 is situated in the town center of Muynak district of Uzbekistan. The school was established in 1993. The school became overcrowded due to increased number of school children attending from almost all neighboring communities of the town. The school was designed for 320 students, but currently there are 530 students attending the school.
The community members were concerned on lack of space capacity of the school #1 and raised the issue on increasing the number of seats for students to be educated at this school.
With the assistance of the UN Joint Programme, the school’s capacity has been increased for another 120 seats. In addition to four classrooms, the renovated building of the school includes three cabinets designated for a teachers’ room, small book storage and logistics room. The newly installed fire alarm system ensures the safety of the building and the heating system makes comfortable for schoolchildren to study in the cold winter days.

Fire crews from Huntley and surrounding departments were called to battle a two-alarm fire at a home in Harmony Friday afternoon.
The Huntley Fire Protection District was called at 3:30 p.m. to 11516 South Grant Highway in Harmony, which is located west of Huntley, for a report of a house fire. When emergency crews arrived, fire and smoke was showing from the rear of the home.
A 2nd alarm was called through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) which brought in numerous fire departments to help fight the fire.
Two residents escaped from the home before firefighters arrived. No residents or firefighters were injured in the fire.
Fire officials said that the fire was started after a resident had been trying to defrost frozen pipes with a torpedo heater. He tried to extinguish the fire with a garden hose but it started back up again.
Fire crews cleared the scene at 7 p.m.
