Doyle Saylor posted this wonderful composite of Alameda City Hall as a sketch for a birthday card for the town of Eutin, wit the goal of editing into a seamless view - but I loved the abstractness of the pieces that had gone into the composition, so could not resist strengthening them by some decomposition and drop shadowing.

This cubism is what I saw!

Josh Waggy and I stretched our "quick ride" out and did 15 miles this morning instead... we ended up messing around out at the Alameda Naval Base skatepark, wishing we were 15 years younger and with bikes more suited to the terrain.
