राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार समारोह का आयोजन आज यानी शुक्रवार की शाम राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में किया गया। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने फिल्म जगत के कलाकारों और 68वें राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार विजेताओं को अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया। दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार दिग्गज एक्ट्रेस आशा पारेख को भारतीय सिनेमा में उनके योगदान के लिए दिया गया वहीं, सर्वश्रेष्ठ फीचर फिल्म का पुरस्कार तमिल फिल्म ‘सोरारई पोट्रु’ को दिया गया। इतना ही नहीं इस फिल्म के लीड एक्टर सूर्या को बेस्ट एक्टर का पुरस्कार दिया गया। उनके साथ एक्टर अजय देवगन ने भी ये अवॉर्ड शेयर किया।
राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कारों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता पुरस्कार विजेता अजय देवगन और सूर्या को चुना गया। अजय देवगन ने ताली बजाई जबकि सूर्या ने उस पल को रिकॉर्ड किया जब पत्नी ज्योतिका ने भी ‘सोरारई पोट्रु’ के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ फीचर फिल्म का पुरस्कार स्वीकार किया। बता दें कि सूर्या की पत्नी और निर्माता-निर्देशक के रूप में ज्योतिका सुधा कोंगारा ने तमिल फिल्म ‘सोरारई पोट्रु’ के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ फीचर फिल्म का पुरस्कार स्वीकार किया। निर्देशक ओम राउत ने ‘ताण्हाजी: द अनसंग वॉरियर’ के लिए संपूर्ण मनोरंजन प्रदान करने वाली सर्वश्रेष्ठ लोकप्रिय फिल्म का पुरस्कार स्वीकार किया। फिल्म के निर्माता के तौर पर अजय देवगन को भी अवॉर्ड मिला। सर्वश्रेष्ठ डायरेक्शन का पुरस्कार दिवंगत फिल्म निर्माता सच्चिदानंदन केआर को एके अय्यप्पनम कोशियुम (मलयालम) के लिए दिया गया, ये अवॉर्ड उनकी पत्नी ने स्वीकार किया।
