Celebrated the first day of spring with a trip out to MSP! The weather was perfect. Temps were above 40F and the sun was shining resulting in the snow melting away.

MSP has seen an uptick in charter flights this week as the Big Ten Women's College Basketball Tournament is in town. Was great to get back out plane spotting after being busy with work and life! Also this was the first time I've seen Global X, always great to add new airlines to the portfolio!

Today marked Air Canada's first day of Airbus A220 service at MSP. In the past they have strictly used CRJ's and Embraer 175's.
Today also marked the return of pesky heat haze... at least the snow is gone!

This aircraft was originally operating flight 51 from New York to Honolulu but diverted to MSP due to a medical emergency. The aircraft was on the ground at MSP for an hour and a half before departing to Honolulu.
Thanks to my Wife for delaying our afternoon plans by a bit to race out the airport to see my favorite airline! The second trip out to MSP of 2023 was a success!
