My week's highlight:
The German Air Force Transall during take-off on its goodbye tour at Altenburg-Nobitz Airport (AOC/EDAC, also known as Leipzig-Altenburg Airport).
ABW4051 on a short flight from Leipzig (LEJ) to Milan (MXP) seems to be close to the moon.
Flying nearly FL270 or FL280 - taken from Jena, Germany.
Incredible surprise above my hometown, yesterday: A short flight of this beautiful bird from Hamburg (HAM/EDDH) to Munich (MUC/EDDM) at FL290 above Jena, Thuringia, Germany.
A beautiful and very aged 767-200 at its final approach to RWY 26R at Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ). The 37-years-old airframe came from Tel Aviv (TLV).
Caution...black ice ahead
Icelandair Boeing 757-256 TF-LLL named 'Prihnúkagigur' ( after an Icelandic volcano ) has been operating the morning Reykjavík to Dublin FI416/FI417 lately, sporting its unique black & white livery which was applied in late 2021.
TF-LLL dates back to 2000 when delivered to Iberia named "Honduras " & has been with many carriers, including Icelandair as TF-IST , Titan & swanky La Compagnie as F-HTAG.
A nice visitor at EDBJ - coming from Zurich (ZRH) via Erfurt (ERF). Later, the aircraft flew to Mannheim (MHG).
Late arrival of "Christoph 70" at its homebase after the last operation that day.
Note the "Christoph 23" titles of the airframe's former homebase.
