Yesterday, Fresh water for this june! Airbus A300F4-622R European Air Transport (DHL) D-AZMO leaving the 18 of Frankfurt Airport to Madrid Barajas

It never disappoints to see this large transport Airbus A400M Atlas at RIAT as it performs display manoeuvres that you feel really shouldn't be possible for this size of aircraft. Despite early set backs this aircraft will have a major role for the future of the RAF transport fleet and will also have the capability for medivac and re-fuelling roles also.

The aircraft in the image is an Airbus BelugaXL.

It is a specialized cargo plane designed to carry oversized components, primarily large parts of other aircraft, such as wings and fuselage sections, between Airbus production sites across Europe.

The aircraft's distinctive bulbous shape, which resembles a beluga whale, gives it its popular nickname and unique profile.

It operates with a unique upward-opening nose door to facilitate the loading and unloading of massive cargo.

That's an Airbus A400M of the French Air Force. They often fly over our house. On this day they were training refuelling. After some bigger rounds, the pilot of this aircraft must have seen us standing there on a pasture and looking up with our huge Sigma lenses. So he flew an extra sharp curve over us. The aircraft was getting bigger and bigger in my lens until it was too big. And I was muttering: "it's too big, it's too big". Great fun. :)

Der Airbus A300-600ST ähnelt in Form und Farbe auffallend dem weißen Belugawal. Es gibt nur fünf Stück der Supertransporter, die täglich in Hamburg Finkenwerder starten und landen
