It was nice to include Reno's fantacstic casions' background with Super Glow Shows of Great Reno Balloon Race 2025.
Took a little ride in the sky.
I was hoping to get plenty of photos of the balloon before take off. However, they kept us very busy and I did not manage to get any time over before we lifted off into the big blue sky.
It was truly fantastic and highly recommended if you have never flown before.

Angkor back in 2011, taken from a (hydrogen?) gas-filled air-balloon... nobody could afford a drone back in those days... I still can't now!

Over hundreds of hot air ballon are launched in this annual October festival. The hot air balloons originate from various parts of the world. They did not launch on the first day due to fog blocking the visibility of the pilots. However, this allowed visitors to walk and see the hot air balloons on land.

Despegan cientos de bombas aerostáticos en este festival annual en octubre. Los globos son oriundos de de varias partes del mundo. No despegaron todos en el primer día por neblina, que eliminó la visibilidad de navegación de los pilotos. Proveyó la oportunidad para caminar y ver los globos juntos en tierra.

I had another idea with a hot airballoon but it doesn't work. I have to try it again... but now I'm to lazy. :D
Then I wanted to make a superman picture but I didn't found a cape, so I made this: "The flying girl"

The CTV Air Balloon came by my back garden, while the moon was out so I took a shot! I wish I'd noticed it
when it was much lower! CTV is a National T.V. Station here in Canada.
What an amazing day! Unfortunately it was so crowdy in the morning that I missed out on some people. An I'm too shy to go to people and ask who they are (like myself, a lot of people didn't wear a name tag)....
So, sorry to the people I couldn't find or couldn't talk to cause of the crowd at the tables.
Maybe next BC we can do an 'After meet' also....:-D

The week end saw the 38th International Balloon Fiesta in the city of Bristol with over 140+ air balloons from around the globe taking to the skies and a night glows to round the four day event. The weather was variable, but balloons did eventually take to the sky
