Door werkzaamheden tussen Boxtel en Best, worden er gedurende een aantal dagen treinen omgeleid via de Noordelijke Maaslijn. Op 12 augustus was de aftrap en werden treinen van RTB, Captrain en DBC omgeleid via de Maaslijn. DBC reed om met hun UC-treinen tussen Kijfhoek en Lutterade DSM, die de laatste tijd flink op lengte is. Er werd elektrisch gereden tussen Kijfhoek en Nijmegen, de rest was weggelegd voor de 6400-locs. Zoals altijd gooide vertragingen roet in het eten op dit enkelsporige baanvak. Zo liep DBC ca. 45 minuten vertraging op, wat resulteerde in een vertraging van liefst 90 minuten vanaf Nijmegen. Ter hoogte van Smakt zien we de DBC 6412 passeren met 12 gasketelwagens op zijn weg richting Lutterade DSM. De diepblauwe lucht werd op dat moment getemperd door een grote brand in Goch, die zorgde voor enorme rookontwikkeling!

Agaricustus agustus aka “the prince” is a very elegant mushroom. The finer points (not all seen here) include the rose- beige gill structure underneath, the brown scabers on the cap and the felty annulus about the stipe (stem) make it both attractive and relatively easy to identify.

The colonnade is about one hundred yards long and contains thirty-one of the original thirty-two columns. The column capitals tops are floral, and remarkable in their variety with no two being alike. Most of the columns show carvings of Tiberius offering gifts to the gods. The ceiling, which is mostly destroyed, is decorated with stars and and flying vultures, while the rear wall has two rows of bas-reliefs of Tiberius and Agustus offering to the gods
