While the bridegroom Dr. Asaif was getting settled in on the stage my niece Dr. Iman’s father (my brother-in-law Dr. Imran, standing on the left) was embracing the groom’s father (Mr. Sodezai, standing on the right).

The bearded person to perform the Nikah (formal I Do’s) on the bride and groom shortly was getting the required witness signatures done. In this case my “baby” brother Dr. Usman was signing as a witness. My sister, Dr. Ambereen, was with the bride getting ready for a happy mixture of fairly traditional Pakistani wedding ceremony and moderately modern event.
